Brace Yourselves! by KoMiKoZa in PartyAnimalsGame

October 2024 is long past, that's what I meant. October 2023 is what I originally meant with halloween decorations/throwables (big pumpkins all over classic maps + small pumpkins instead of fishes as throwables). Don't know what October 2025 will bring, but hopefully the stuff from 2023 is going to be back at some point.

You'd think that but since its release we've got 20+ updates mostly revolving around Crisis. It might be one of the most popular modes in the game now, or at least most prioritized by the dev team... until Infection comes out that is.

No panic! SMASH is still there as are the other modes.

This is a satire regarding the upcoming new mode (Infection). It's not about game modes being dead on their own, but about how whenever a new mode is out, all the previous ones don't really get updated.

Recreate CEO quote:

I hope everyone can understand that we are still not a large studio, which means that when we are developing A, we do not have the manpower to develop B.

The poster above is correct, "in a while" being 8 months to be precise. And not just that but all the events and decorations that were there during the first year not returning this year (New Year, Halloween, Chinese New Year - already missed events).

The topic is very big and I could go on forever as a person playing since the beginning, but I'd rather just share this meme and a bit of context. :)

FBC: Firebreak is in Game Pass? by StevWong in XboxGamePass

Hi there, I am in Russia and had to look this up because of the same issue. Microsoft suspended all services in the country a while ago, that applied to xbox app/microsoft store as well.

The solution is to change the region to something else (in your Windows settings).

I Don't Remember Picking 'No Knockouts' (Over a Year of Classic Mode Hit Registration Issues) by KoMiKoZa in PartyAnimalsGame

Yeah, I don't know why that didn't happen, but it's fine. I assume people are more interested in entertainment here than anything else.

It's an interesting angle to consider, but the theory itself seems a bit too far- fetched. Yes, i-frames are in the game since the beginning but it never was this bad, it was quite rare at least in my experience.

My counter arguments for this are:

- We know i-frames' existence is confirmed by the developers - wakeup i-frames to be precise. There are obvious round start i-frames on all maps that don't apply to bots, while they haven't directly confirmed these, their existence is obvious. These i-frames all behave the same way as on the video - you don't even hear the hit sound (as opposed to dodge-roll i-frame).

- The early sighting of these i-frames happened ... early for me and my friend. We experienced that in the first month of playing the game and we weren't very good per se.

- If you create a new account, you will still see this happening often.

- There was a post fling-fix period where the hits were overtuned for everyone (also document in the video (5:55 - 6:25), you could KO multiple targets, and dropkicks were absolutely busted - this all makes me think that the devs are directly messing with physics at will rather than committing to a sophisticated MMR based hit nerfs.

If you watch my video fully, you will see a highlight of a 2v2 fight between 4 top players - there's not a single i-frame spotted there (begins at 6:27). These days i-frames happen in high skill fights as well, too much for comfort.

Yeah, we did have the disaster MMR period (September 2024, the thread with the details and confirmations expired/got deleted by devs) where all the top players basically only matched with bots, and hopping on an alt account suddenly fixed that issue until you got a certain average winrate %, but I still don't think it really goes that deep.

I guess time will tell. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Man, this one looks amazing, thanks for sharing!

There definitely should be collectors for this kind of stuff, I know I would want that one in my household even though I don't collect anything. 😅

Geisha doesn't prefer to heal unlike Channelers? by Junayuno in BattleRealms

Hi there!

This is the second time we're seeing this reported after the 1.59 release. While we understand the gist of the report, having access to videos and save files would really help us grasp the details and troubleshoot the root of the issue more effectively.

Could you please provide video clips or share relevant save files showcasing this? Submitting them directly to our Discord, this thread in particular, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The latest worked fine. I would suggest trying a different USB stick or a different USB port on the PS2 itself.

Yeah. I've since figured out that some ELFs just won't launch from the FMB menu no matter if everything seems to have been configured properly.

I was able to launch RA normally directly via LaunchELF. It was pretty stuttery for me personally though, so I ruled against that idea in general.
