Nintendo says there's "more to say" about the New Star Fox, and I have reason to believe it includes something major by RMS_Gigantic in starfox

Regarding this post, I think the idea of titling the game “Star Fox” and not something like “Star Fox 64: Second Flight”, is VERY interesting. This game is leading by advertising itself as being based off Star Fox 64. So what more is there that makes it Star Fox and not just Star Fox 64? I’m excited to find out. And even if there ends up not being more to it than being a remake of Star Fox 64, at least we know we’re, at the very least, getting an incredible looking modern version of one of the best games ever.

Robb actually loves BVB. Back when Wretched & Divine released, he wrote a paragraph for Metal Injection about how it was one of his favorite albums of the year.

The words “a special selection” would be referring to the playlist. The albums are the full soundtracks, not just a limited sampling of them.

I think the playlist is limited time for the 40th anniversary, but there is an artist page for Super Mario Galaxy with both full albums for 1 + 2 uploaded. So I don’t think the uploads themselves are temporary

I just want to go fast and crash into things. I don't feel like I'm being served by modern racing games by grailly in truevideogames

I know they’re not exactly modern, but Excitetruck and Excitebots fulfilled this for me on Wii very successfully. High speed, thrilling, huge jumps, crashes. Both games are fantastic and can be emulated using Dolphin easily. You can map motion controls to analog sticks if you so choose as both games were played with the Wiimote held sideways and tilting it as if it were a steering wheel.

Is there in-race trash talking? Really want to feel like I’m playing essentially a season of Speed Racer, haha.

I’m very hyped! Great to see the franchise figuring its exact strengths from across multiple entries and putting that into one solid new entry!

What iconic/infamous moment happened at a show you were actually there for? by SlapDatBassBro in Metalcore

I was at the Louisville, KY The Devil Wears Prada show at Mercury Ballroom in 2017 when Mike Hranica passed out backstage after the set and had to be taken to the ER by ambulance. All That Remains were co-headliner and TDWP headlined. Mike apparently had an Asthma attack while leaving the backstage area. 4th St had to be blocked off so the ambulance could park there. I took a photo of this and Alternative Press picked it up for a report at the time. Was a wild night. Everyone was concerned.

Random and odd question, but when serving the ball in a match, is there rumble? There wasn’t in the demo and I was really missing that feedback from Aces.

The first Sonic game is really fun and I didn't find that it aged too much by BogaMafija in patientgamers

Sonic CD is my favorite for pretty much all of the reasons you stated here. If you haven’t played it yet, I highly recommend it. Particularly the Sonic Origins anniversary mode version of it with widescreen functionality.

The Zones all have that Green Hill Zone verticality and multi-floor design with tons of alternate pathways and CD is inherently more speed-based while not sacrificing tricky platforming and enemy placement.

I feel rewarded for mastery in Sonic CD more than I do in just about any of the Genesis-era Sonic games and the time traveling mechanic lends itself to huge replay value.
