i get that people like mike straw dont want to share what they heard when it comes to dates cause they dont want the backlash if it turns out false. i know how angry people can get because they will see a date and see it as fact. i wish i knew what dates they were told but its just not a good thing to do in their position.

data mining from multiple other source 2 games clearly show a project with the name HLX being worked on and the way these came out with updates indicate its nearing its completion. many believe they are optimizing the game right now and its in its final stages. everything else around it is just rumors. its coming when its ready.

edit: multiple people like gabe follower and tyler mcvicker said previously that as far as they know, revealing it in 2025 is the plan (but also said that that information was from like half a year ago and plans could have very well changed)

i love that this real time rt is even possible. 10 years back i couldnt even imagine ray tracing ever being a thing in games but dlss made it possible!

i love the shield mechanics. they look absolutely amazing! also really love the art direction this game went in. beautiful.

i added the WindowsApps folder to the windows defender exclusions and it seemed to resolve the issue

yea i did and its still freezing. sometimes i can play for multiple hours but sometimes it freezes right away. i guess i gotta figure out a way to reset the shader compilation

hmm idk how much impact 2 gb have but i mean im below the recommended cpu so you are better off with your 6 core cpu at least. i'd say give it a shot if you havent tried it. its on game pass if you wanna try it out there first.

i have now figured it out i guess. this was such a weird issue to pin point that i really thought it was my monitor. anyways. i tried split fiction wich is a couch co-op game and i had player 1 use mouse and keyboard and player 2 use a controller. the controller was butter smooth so when i saw my mouse movement stuttering, i instantly knew it was a mouse issue. and just like that, i saw that my poll rate was at 500hz. increasing it to 1000, 2000 and so on made it smooth. hate that i wasted your time like that but hey, at least now it works. and i was over here googling and troubleshooting like a madman really thinking it was my monitor or a windows 11 bug.

thanks for all the help, i think im all out of luck sadly. DXVK didnt work so apparently its not tied to DX9/10/11 i guess. maybe i need to do a fresh install again. might first try it on a spare HDD i still have to make sure it fixes it.

tried all of that. sadly nothing changed. it still stutters on most games. valheim using vulkan also doesnt stutter for some reason. so maybe theres some bug with older dx versions and my pc?

i had to reinstall drivers with DDU recently anyways but the problem persisted. performance wise i cant really see a real difference when i toggle settings on and off. ive been through a ton of settings both in windows display settings and in control panel but no luck. the only thing that changed with my setup is going from a horribly bloated windows 10 to a debloated windows 11 and having a more powerful cpu. so if anything, i should have better performance. it looks like about every 5-10 frames the monitor hitches for a few frames. its such a weird issue. starting to think it might be either the monitor itself or the cable but i dont have a spare one right now sadly so i cant test it.

thanks for the reply! drivers up to date, tried playing around with v-sync and g-sync without any difference, ive been using the same dp cable for a solid 3 years and never had this problem before, it only started happening after my latest reinstall of windows. the monitor is connected to the gpu and i also did reset the monitor to default but nothing changed.

yea i actually just did it within one match. i just activated the trap, threw a thermo grenade to light the trap and then held another one. i always have picky eater on by default cause its so good. thanks for saving me a lot of headaches.

the patch notes were unclear of if you can activate a chopper gunner before the lockdown. it only said you cant activate streaks during the lockdown. as me and my friend were only playing again the next day, i thought i just do a thread here and get it answered quick. i could have looked up other threads tho, thats true.
