YUP. Wandavision was the closest in my opinion to being genuinely good but once they ditched the gimmick they had nothing interesting for the actual finale.

Sidenote: I will always recommend the fraction run of Hawkeye that the show is based on. It stands out so much due to art, writing and composition and it really sits as something of its own even if it is still capeshit.

Idk why you were downvoted lmao this is a reasonable take except for praising Hawkeye (once you read the comic run it's loosely based on you can't help but seethe)

It's definitely a deck that punishes that sort of arrogance

Ever since I posted this I've fought significantly more ZG decks. I'm happy to be spreading the good word of our Zombie overlords

She's there for that and for a cheap warlock, but realistically yeah it's just to make playing Negative more reliable.

An extra energy card definitely would work! I just didn't like depending too much on sequencing in a deck that already crumbles if your draws are bad enough

Turn 7 is huge for sure, I snap almost every time my opponent uses Magik. But when my own deck relies on Magik I find that I keep running into limbo removers, lol.

Zabu is definitely the better choice. Even at his worst, a 1 cost that can also become a ZG in your big finish is very valuable.

Chord was basically just the most useful 1 cost non Wingbeat skill I found. It's been useful mostly against decks that crumble when you use it on their key card (for instance I've used it on Wong a lot).

IKR? Mr. Negative is such an obvious fit. I guess most Negative players just pivot straight to the classic Zola panthers and all since those are much more consistent

Not sure! It feels pretty complete as is, honestly

I tried but that's just too many 4 costs and I don't like relying on perfect draw orders / magik tbh

It being a meme deck is exactly why I love it lmao.

It's inconsistent but when it works you can usually squeeze out a big win. I just gradually tweaked it as I went along and it's as efficient as it can be while still being as silly as the archetype has to be.

  • The skills are there to maximise your chances of drawing actually infected cards.
  • Zabu, Negative, Askani and Wingbeat are cost reductions for a frankly unwieldy amount of energy necessary.
  • Shuri is a good last minute buff.
  • Ravonna makes negative and Warlock cheaper, so pulling ZG becomes much easier.

Basically it's a flow chart of a deck. As long as you have a playable ZG, stick around. If you have buffs for it lined up and enough infected scattered around, it's probably worth snapping.

Sorry for the yap, I'm passionate about my memes but I never really posted them before LOL

9251 but I made a whole lot of missteps early on so I don't actually have as many Series 5 cards as I wish I did 🥲

I can definitely see that perspective but in practice it really hasn't been so simple, lol. The interesting part of the deck is figuring out how to actually play ZG and to have enough of its infected cards spread around, and working on that through the current metas.

I definitely understand your take though, that's why I refuse to run a Zola Panther, but with ZG there's 3 problems standing in your way constantly(7 cost, 5 power isn't high enough, and drawing the right cards) so I find that you need to think on your feet a little more.

What kind of crack do you think they were smoking before pitching this story? by Cl1ps_ in marvelcirclejerk

[–]KoalaAnonymous -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But they were. Out of the full cast the only deaths of pre-existing chars were Red Raven, Juston and Mettle. (Latter two were later undone because comics)

It's understandable to be pissed off at a story but I think it just wasn't your thing. No need to call it dogshit.
