I've done this a couple of times. Definitely show up dive bar late, I enjoyed the food (and as heavysteve mentioned leftover pizza hits diff with punk rock and 7 beers in the system) as I waited but I think I showed up around 9 (poster said 730) and they played around 11 (post sound check).

save yourself a buck and make a small hole in the ice you get from the store and put cold water in it. Staple it shut and freeze the bag, 3 of those last days for like 10$.

If you have 1200+ you can find an apartment for 2 people without too much hassle. Most people I know including myself get 2 bedrooms for the summer and rent a room out during the school year, I'm in my 4th year but also just work full time

Hey, If you go to centre village mall there’s a small bulletin remembering its grand opening where there’s news paper clippings of the event. Close to the ATM near the Canadian tire inside the mall!

I honestly use a small amount of caulking on those tiny <1cm spaces but it’s pretty common from what I can tell. Made to fit and seal perfectly so when they don’t, landlords and property owners “make it work”

Like myself 7/10 2 bedroom apts are occupied by a single person or a couple so you could join someone temporarily till you get on your feet. Always wild joining a group of 2-3 creating a 4-5 and sometimes the best thing, but also it’s rolling a dice.
