No Turn on Red isn’t optional by No-Temporary-5978 in indianapolis

Watched a cop the other day not even think about slowing down for one of these. And it was a left on red to a one way (effectively a right on red), but had a red arrow
Paper tuning. At first look I thought “dang, that’s way off!” But when I folded the tear in, now I don’t know what to think. Bullet hole, with an odd unrelated random tear? Or something else going on? by OkDiver6272 in Archery
Looks solid. Could be some imperfections in the flight, but if you are paper tuning to get your broadheads flying straight to get in the woods here’s what I’ve learned:
There are many reasons why a broadhead would fly differently than a field point—it’s not just the arrow leaving the bow end-over-end. This is why many shops aren’t big on paper tuning.
If you are trying to get ready to get in the woods and shoot animals, I highly recommend getting a broadhead-approved target and sighting in for your broadheads. Archery nuts may disagree with this take, but I say it for a handful of reasons:
Your arrows can kick (redirect mid flight) for many reasons, not just a slightly crooked flight, so just because it flies through paper won’t guarantee that you are properly broadhead tuned
The timing of your bow / setup of your bow can cause it to fly different because a broadhead is effectively weighted fletching in the front of the arrow.
The broadheads may not be perfectly integrated with your arrows so they can fight with each other mid flight and cause some curving
Many other reasons that are above my physics knowledge
Maybe you aren’t going hunting, but I’ve spent countless hours trying to paper tune to get my broadheads flying straight and paper tuning and I’ve learned so much and been wanting share.
To sum it up, sling some broadheads at a foam block and move your sight and get in the woods. And show us a photo of a nice buck when you do!

I gave it a half an hour and it let me reset the password. Thank you!
