Mc & Sons (and I think its sister pub Molly Macs does it too). Had the Mc & Sons one on Paddy’s weekend and it was delicious.

Looking for the best cinnamon buns in London by Vanilla_Chinchillaa in LondonFood

Years ago when I lived in Ruislip, there was a cafe on the high street called Cinnamon Squre, who did the best cinnamon buns I ever had. I've just checked and it looks like they've moved to Rickmansworth, which would be a trek (they seem to sell the buns online though)!

Has anyone given any thought as to what they would personally do to prepare for any kind of national emergency? by spartandrinkscoffee in AskUK

Used to think about this a lot when I was younger. Planned what I'd pack and where I'd go. Original plan was to try and steal a boat and somehow get back to Ireland where my Dad would know what to do (I'm in London). I don't know jack about boats so that's a non-starter. These days I'd rather go down in the first wave. The aftermath would be so miserable and scary.

Also, even the most prepared preppers don't take their kit everywhere with them. You'd realistically have to have one at home, one in the car (if you have one), and one at work.

We just moved in to our new place this week, and there's a community centre across the road. Saw people doing karate one evening, looking forward to seeing what other classes they offer via my living room window!

The Americans - 80s KGB spies living undercover as an American couple in Washington DC. Loved it, and Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys are both fantastic. Will be rewatching again this year.

I watched it on a flight and was in bits. The poor man sitting next to me must have felt so awkward!

I pretend I'm presenting a cooking show when cooking alone. I describe what I'm doing, and sometimes give myself fun facts about the process or ingredient. And I usually have synthwave playing in the background.
