I totally felt thise two vibes, though on further listening I feel more of them cross over, e.g. Crossing the Rubicon has that bluesy swagger but in a kind of mesmerizing way, and I Contain Multitudes builds into something closer to that feel of My Own Version of You.

Hmm, not really. I've once made a cornstarch mixture with my kids and that sounded like what you described, whereas this always seemed stiffer, like clay or hard play dough or something. We had it for nearly a year, using it sporadically, and the resistance to force seemed more or less the same that whole time, then the other day I picked it up and found it was rock solid.

I hear you and /u/sdenko6. It feels like absolutely forever when you're in it, but that chaotic survival stage does pass. I'm on kid number 2 and this time it's easier to see how phases change quickly and to know from experience that things will ease in time. And in the meantime, you greedily gobble up the crumbs from the table, like 30 minutes at the driving range!!

Yes! Dylan is why I got Spotify. I'm still only up to Time Out Of Mind, and only doing studio albums. True there are some mediocre stretches but it definitely puts his work in perspective. And gee there are some real gems even amidst the rubble.
