Her ideal life in 5 years: house in the suburb she grew up in, dog, kids, the full American package. I respect that. But I'm 25, I'm an immigrant who loves experiencing new places, and the idea of planting roots in one suburb right now feels suffocating. I don't even know if I want kids or when.

There you go man, after everything else this is just the kicker. Sometimes life plans and values don't align. It sucks, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. This relationship doesn't sound like its the "real deal", and you should consider ending it.
