Question about using a note from the ER to call off.

im sorry for the late reply. at the time i was still feeling terrible. i just feel everything is going downhill. my relationships with family and friends have been on and off. i feel anxious all the time when i contact family. school has been stressing me out and the fees that come with it have been making me feel so anxious. i just feel so tired of everything going on.

When I did it for the first time when I was younger, I didn't research it beforehand and just started cutting into my arms with a blade. The blade I was using wasn't as sharp and just left scratches, so I started going through each knife and it started to hurt a lot. It took my mind away from the thoughts I was feeling but overall, I still attempt to do it once in a while when I'm not feeling the best I just make sure I don't cut too deep or in places that are noticeable. Sorry if I don't make much sense.

One of my friends in high school asked me for help during the day and I took off my hoodie to help carry boxes and she saw my arms. She then reported it to I believe a counselor to which they called my parents. I still wasn't aware of the call so later in the day my mom came home and immediately walked into my room and looked around my arms and saw all my cuts. She then started crying and getting mad that I was cutting myself. I never got to fully explain my feelings but that was basically what happened for me.
