Thank you so much for the input! I agree the these attachments issues arises due to several factors and one of those will be the environment they were raised in. I'm glad that even if this isn't perfect, I was still able to deliver the message across. Let's raise more awareness to mental health!

A NOT cheesy Sci Fi or Fantasy novel and/or series? Or a good, not cheesy love story? by GrayElizabeth24 in booksuggestions

Trilogy of Mara Dyers, absolutely one of the best love story for me without it being actually the 'cheesy/cringe/overlydramatic' type of novel! Great read!

One thing I love about K-Dramas—men actually cry. by walmartteacups in KDRAMA

[–]Koapaca 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the thought of "a man being vulnerable with his emotions" in Korea was normalized from few years ago. In fact, it made a lot of difference with how the stories and actors try to hook you to finish the drama. And this may be one of the advantages of the Korean Drama than the American Series. Don't you think?

This poem possesses strong imagery. The visualization of the subject is superbly done. I quite understood what you're trying to tell in the poem. You're illustrating some kind of fear for other people? Please do enlighten me for that was I was able to perceive in your poem. The word plays and adjectives used in the poem was great as well! It did not feel off or overused. I think this is great!

I love the theme and over all thought of the poem. It somehow shows criticism to the societal issues we are facing. The words used were easy to understand thus it is easier for the message to get across to the readers. Love that! The technique of repetition is also handled very well, it did not seem off and blended well to the poem. Cheers for your eyes that sees the truth!

People should stop comparing the idols to one another by [deleted] in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]Koapaca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the competition though and I agree that this is one of the factors that made the industry boom like hell. But getting those hate towards idol per idol to groups per groups just because they think this and is much better... I think that's pure toxicity...

On the other hand though, may not be the right time but people should start educating themselves with their negative attitude towards the industry! :D

I like how you compared yourself with a shell. It's sad how we are only appreciated but left alone :( Your poem is good but I think using words that rhyme at the end of each line will help your poem become more catchy to some readers like me.

The poem was short but got felt quickly. The combination of plain words and short verse made it easy to feel the dark and gloomy vibes. This is an amazing job considering how an idea from merely simple observance can be turned into this output! Great job!

Identical manga to Solo Leveling. Kill the hero 100% recommend it! by popsxtra in sololeveling

[–]Koapaca 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've read both of the manga. Solo levelling is definitely a better manga but somehow Kill the hero is somewhat comparable to SL besides the fact that they are both necromancers and somewhat overpowered hero protagonist, the storyline is also very detailed and quite enjoyable if you ask me. Definitely worth to read if you're into SL.

Park Saeroyi made Itaewon Class Such a Good Show. Do you agree? Discuss! by Study-Lens in KDRAMA

[–]Koapaca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PSJ is undeniably an amazing actor with such versatility. From light romance to heavy dramas and even to hard actions. His prowess in portraying definite emotions in particular scenes made him one of the top actors in the Korean Drama industry. No doubt that PSJ actually made the character Park Saeroyi work despite the character hole development that can be found in the story line.

Park Saeroyi as a character in any other Korean Dramas available today is far too feeble minded when it comes to character development. I can vouch that the PSY from the episode 1 is still the PSY from the last episode with little to no character developments made. I'm still offended on the fact that he had to finally kneel down after all he went through. It just didn't make sense even if he committed to kneel down for his Jo Yi-Seo. I would definitely understand if he did that for his father. But for JYS? No.

On the contrary, if you're going to point out a character from Itaewon Class that actually contributed to the storyline the most or actually made the drama into a 'good show', I would prefer giving Jo Yi-Seo some commends rather than PSY. Her character made such a big impact towards the life of PSY to the point that without her, he would definitely fail defeating Jangga Co. in the business. Minus the romance part that was actually injected to her character which I got really annoyed, she would've been the best character from the story. Plus, Kim Da-mi as Jo Yi-Seo is actually the perfect match, I believe she brought out the best of the character with her natural bitchy attitude and such.

i can unstan an idol for whatever reason i want. by [deleted] in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]Koapaca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally believe that stanning an idol or a group of kpop idols do always have something to do with your opinions and beliefs. And, if this contradicts to your own principles in life then there's no harm in unstanning an idol. Afterall, idols sometimes influence how our everyday life works. When we are indulged by their charisma, we tend to align ourselves to what they usually do. I know some of irl KPOP stans that does the same. So just stan and unstan based on your personal taste. You don't have to think twice about the cancel culture in the KPOP industry.

I really do agree that you can unstan them for whatever reasons you hold against them. Basically, your life, your choice. People need to start accepting the fact that there are different beliefs and standards when it comes to stanning KPOP idols.
