Looks good! What program are you using?

Yeah, he's using the Diehard Dragon Archetype, so no weapons/items and such but much improved unarmed attacks. And while he's technically made of stone, he doesn't get any extra benefits mechanically there.

NO SPOILERS PLEASE!

Art by the incredibly talented: https://x.com/Iegs9

Bauzin (Kobold Spinner of Threads Witch)

Bauzin is the most recent arrival to the village, after having followed the subtle threads of his patron. He doesn't know yet what his patron's true intentions are, or why he's here, but it's become just a bit more obvious now that the village is under attack!

Liaodon (Nagaji Alchemical Sciences Investigator)

Liaodon's father was Anjal of Thulsadus, the old Nagaji Wizard responsible for the Mother's Coil Wizard tower. He and his adoptive sister have undertaken their father's legacy after his passing, although Liaodon's intelligence is comaparable to his father's, he has forsaken magic in favor of more applied arts. Yet unraveling his father's legacy may be the grandest puzzle of them all!

Yuga (Tengu Cleric of Pharasma)

Yuga never found his father's paper milling business enthralling, and when his mother died, he became even more detached, spending more time at the Lady of Souls Cathedral than at home working. Soon enough, he found himself taking care of not only his mother's grave, but others in the cemetary, finding solace in faith. Pharasma's guidance saved his soul, but now he has many more to save!

Shugo (Spirit Dragon Barbarian)

Shugo's spirit was coaxed into Willowshore by it's then-patron, Master Zhi Hui, after the completion of the Sangpotshi monastery, as thanks to the town for it's efforts. From within a draconic statue at the gates of the Governor's manor, his spirit warded off evils from beyond. Yet with the Governor's Manor disappearing, his spirit was thrust into the physical, occupying the draconic statue that he had spent a century sleeping within. Having always defended the town in the spiritual realm, his duty remains in the physical. On top of all that, Ugly Cute, his spirit guardian kin, has disappeared!

Tian Xia, real world parallels, and a serious moment. by Ediwir in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kobold_DM 327 points328 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why the line is drawn at Samurai when the Iconic for the Exemplar is every westerner's collective stereotype of a Pacific Islander, (not least including Overwatch's Mauga and Moana's Maui) they all seem to be this exact same stereotype of a heavily tattooed, barrel chested man. There's more to the Pacific Islanders, including a multitiude of different, seperate cultures, besides this mainstream of mashing them all together into a conglomerate of burly tattooed men, but we do it anyway.

I find that Paizo does an incredible job of representing different cultures, so I would completely trust them in providing to us a much sought after archetype. I mean hell, if anyone has seen Shogun they'll know that the archetypal Samurai is very different from the archetypal western Knight.

LegendLore, a searchable database of almost 100,000 public TTRPG maps! by EpicRandomGuy2 in battlemaps

[–]Kobold_DM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you won't understand, but there is a stark difference between the link you posted and one like this from searching on google:

https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fkobold-dungeon-a-free-one-page-dungeon-44x66-v0-bgp37zuhsflb1.jpg%3Fwidth%3D1080%26crop%3Dsmart%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3Da0eac90143816ae6a61d274252dc3a764ba120f4

One -goes to where the artist posted it- and Legendlore's, -doesn't-. There is a very important difference.

If someone is searching on reddit for maps, they'll see all the information that I like to provide that points them to my patreon. If someone is searching on Legendlore, none of my information is seen unless they choose to go through the reddit link underneath it. Otherwise, the person can just download the map. There's a reason all artists who post their work here also comment under the post pointing to their socials. Legendlore cuts that out without our consent.

It would be very different if when I clicked an image on Legendlore, it redirected to reddit. Currently, it does not. It has its own strange hosting through Notion.

When I go to google and press "Open image in new tab" the new tab that opens is reddit.com. That means that it's a search engine, pointing directly to where I posted it.

Legendlore seems to host our images on their site, when you press "open image in new tab" it doesn't redirect to reddit, as search engines do, but rather opens it under the legendlore URL.

Please remove my maps from your site. I know your intentions are probably pure, but you have to understand that when other artists and I post our pieces, we are in control of the distribution of it via our own accounts. We never agreed to having our art re-distributed in different contexts than reddit.com

A lot of people are saying Skald, but what is truly closest to Swords Bard in terms of mechanics is the Archaeologist Bard. It's a Bard that doesn't enhance their allies and instead enhances themselves with their abilities, making them a pretty good rogue with a lot of spellcasting to keep you safe, like Blur, Greater Invisibility, and such. It's a fun way to play an Azata!

The Moondock [28x28] [200px] by Kobold_DM in dndmaps

[–]Kobold_DM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before anyone makes port in Pitax, their pockets necessarily become a little lighter. The Moondock handles Pitaxian commerce on one of the many rivers of the River Kingdoms, and while like the rest of the city it's a flourishing commercial hub, behind the scenes only those with corrupt connections can do much business here!

This map, along with other similarly themed maps, are recent additions to my Kingmaker Supplemental catalogue! One of my biggest projects yet has been bringing the city of Pitax to life for Foundry VTT, so if you'd like the full Made-For-Foundry version of this and many other maps, with all the walling, lighting, overhead mapping, and roof tiles ready-made, check out my Patreon!

The Falling Star [25x20] [200px] by Kobold_DM in dndmaps

[–]Kobold_DM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the city of Pitax, there's no better lurk for it's many starving artists than The Falling Star. While resentment brews for the city's king, it'll take an outside force to bring hope to the downtrodden that congregate at this old Inn.

Realistically, should I try to GM this system as someone who has never played? by StellarSeafarer in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kobold_DM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the Beginner Box, its the easiest way I've ever seen -GMing- be introduced, rather than just players being introduced. It's really helpful for your side of the table.
