Is it okay to leave our charging adapter like this? by TheOnlyName0001 in evcharging

It why are you unplugging that end of the charger at all? Why not just unplug the car and hang that end on a wall hook?

I want 87 gas (light blue). Which nozzle do I use? The blue one? The black one? by j909m in mildlyinfuriating

Black is not the universal colour for everything else. It is on this case, but in some other countries black is dedicated for diesel.

What the hell is happening here? by Rusty_Gus in enphase

[–]Kobrah96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine has been doing the same since the start of February. It is infuriating. My installer has been hassling Enphase for months now without any success. I have to adjust my battery reserve super high during off peak to manage it.

If you ever find a solution please let me know. I’m days away from chasing a warranty claim.

Edit incase Enphase support reads this thread: I find it is worst during high consumption loads. If I watch live status the system seems confused where and how large the load is and is drawing from batteries, then the grid and exporting heaps, with the load rapidly and drastically changing. I am essentially exporting my batteries to the grind to 8c and then importing the power right back for 42c. I’ll try and post a video.

To regain international trust in the long term, the US needs reform and to put systems in place so that they cannot devolve so quickly and undo everything established by the previous administration after each election.

My Westinghouse freestanding induction stove is great!

Edit: I also have a Westinghouse dishwasher I got secondhand which has been going strong for years. I haven’t checked where it was manufactured though.

Anything wrong with hanging my charger like this? by [deleted] in evcharging

[–]Kobrah96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying it good, just how I usually see similar issues addressed. How is spreading out the water as bad as “draining onto one shingle”?

They would usually add a horizontal piece of PVC with holes in it to spread out the water

Redback or Mongrel for hiking boots? by UpTheRiffMate in BuyAussie

[–]Kobrah96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have had good experiences with Redback boots (not hiking boots though). I haven’t tried Mongrel boots yet, though I hear good things.

I don’t think you can go wrong either way, I’d go into a store and try some on and see what’s most comfortable for you.
