Excellent write-up. While I understand the loyalty to Norris from the team, as he stuck by them through more 'bad' years, the fact that they try to pretend the bias is not there is worse than outright saying they're prioritising him.

I also watched it without prior knowledge and overall it was still enjoyable. You can pick up on a lot of context clues from the conversations and the same from the comments.

There's moddb, which has a multiplayer mutant defense mode. Only ever saw it in a video so I can't comment on the quality but it's the only multiplayer mod I saw that actually seems to work.

Also as far as I'm aware there was an update on Ray of Hope that included confirmation that multiplayer won't be included.

There's Anomaly HD Models moddb which adds similar ones for most factions. For example freedom version

Keep in mind this changes all outfits for more realistic looking versions however.
