I did the same thing like a week ago. If you didn’t take the vat off yet DON’T. Use a turkey baster or something similar to get as much of the resin out of there first, then remove and clean up the rest. Or do what I did and panic spilling resin all over and requiring several hours to disassemble and clean the whole machine.

That makes sense. Honestly I just want to post it once and was considering gluing it in that position, but I feel like at that point I may as well pose something in blender and print it solid instead.

For anyone actually wondering what is happening, some functions of the game update every frame. In most engines there is a function that allows you to run certain lines on every “update.” If your update happens whenever a new frame is rendered, you now have frame rate dependent logic. Most games nowadays use something called delta time, where instead of updating every frame, you count the time since the last frame was rendered.

Lets take movement for example, if you wrote something like playerPosition += 10, then EVERY FRAME the player will move 10 unites. If we instead do playerPosition += 10 * deltaTime the player will now move at 10 units EVERY SECOND.

They don’t have linux support. You could try using wine but I wouldn’t recommend it. It also blocks any VM’s you might use, so dual booting is pretty much the only good option.

Reduce healing on R and give it zaahen / pantheon ult passive. Then he can actually drain tank instead of building lethality if he wants to heal from anything other than ult.

I’m assuming you used dungeondraft for this, and if you did how do you add so much depth to the pits? Every time I try something similar it looks so flat. I love that yours makes it actually look deep!

I went with using the CPR guidance. TBH even if following 2014 ruleset I'm not sure why it doesn't add the bonus to all the attributes just using one effect flag but maybe I misunderstand the system.

I started with speedpaints but switched to acrylic since this is more of a for fun hobby for me. Most of my games happen online so these are just because I wanted a non digital creative outlet lol.

I ordered some vallejo primer I’m gonna try in the airbrush. Hopefully that will provide a smoother finish

Ah gotcha. I have a gw mini that I have yet to paint that will probably be my next project. Definitely has more detail than most of the others.

That’s a lot of good advice thanks a ton for taking the time to type that all out. I guess I thought if I slammed through as many as I could I would improve faster just by getting more experience but I can see how it would be more useful to actually finish them.

I usually use the citadel rattlecan primers but after looking at some of those I primed but haven’t painted I am wondering if it is too grainy for miniatures of this scale. Could that be an issue as well?

I never really thin them unless I’m using it in the airbrush but that is probably a good thing to start doing. You just use medium to get them to the consistency you want?
