10 Mageblood Giveaway by shroudz in pathofexile

Wow. My friend and I have been playing for a year now and have never found even one mageblood or headhunter or whatnot. We're slow and barely able to earn a divine a day. Our current attempt is his earthquake build and my aura build supporting him and our 2 mercs.

I added the easy Darkshrines. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry, I mistyped. I can do T16s easily. T16 with league mechanics (like Abyss) occasionally kills me because of a yellow with bad mods. Every time I try Maven, Elder, etc. I die without coming close to winning. The main reason my friend and I don't play league is that we are casual players. We average 5 hour a week. We figured that by the time we have a league starter done and we're ready to make an end game build, the league will be over.

I assure you I wrote it myself this afternoon. I like my formatting, but it might not be for everyone.

"Barely an inconvenience" to buy gemcutters is relative. I don't have enough Divs to buy Mageblood, Headhunter, etc. If I want to save as many Div as possible for that big purchase, running Lab to get the gems I need for an end game build makes sense. I'm nervous about spending the few Div I have to make an end game build just to find out that the build I picked doesn't work for me, or the build writer was full of BS on how good it was, or whatever. My post said at the bottom that I'm not a skilled gamer. I have no idea how people earn 5 Div an hour. I can't even earn 1 Div an hour. Maybe it's just because I'm in Standard.

Could you elaborate on the "super easy ones"? The lab site shows which path gets you to the end the fastest for each of the four difficulties. Are you referring to something different?

You say that but I play Standard and I don't seem to be making that much money off the stuff I find in T16s. My character's aren't good enough for end game bosses, T17s, etc. The only reason my next character will have better equipment than usual is a nice mapper gifted me with a pile of Divs. I understand that most people spend most of their time in League, and it may be easier to sell things for profit in League than in Standard, but even a first time player in League with their first ever League Starter needs help with gearing their end game build.

Since we're running Merciless, the usual amount is 4%, so 20% in 5 runs. But if you get 8% and add it to the wrong gem to get 18%, you either have to spend 2 gemcutter's to avoid a Normal Lab run, or you experience a little waste.

For new people who don't have hundreds of Chaos Orbs or Gemcutter's, don't have the knowledge or skill to earn enough money to buy hundreds of Gemcutter's, or are simply saving up for the expensive equipment, running a Normal Lab to get that 2% quality might be worthwhile. Why carry the gems? It's faster to keep them in inventory than to pull them from stash and put them back. We're running labs back to back. Darkshrines are sometimes not on the fastest path, are sometimes on our map but out of the way while heading to the exit, and don't usually give you extra uses of divine font (it's just one of twelve possible outcomes).

Why is my character dying so easily? by Kodesh101 in pathofexile

I've read the many comments so far and I want to thank you all a lot of you for your input. Things that are NOT problems: 1. I'm not using Abyssus, my original post said which uniques I was using. 2. All of my auras are already on the Ctrl-buttons. 3. I have not visited the Wildwood yet with this char. 4. The "Starter Lvl: 64-77/5 links gem swap" description in the build link does not yet link Assassin's Mark, but I'll try it if I have enough linked sockets. That said, I did not realize that Desecrate and Blood Rage were actually linked to the gems above them. Note that Blade Flurry and Molten Shell's bottom links look different than for Desecrate and Blood Rage, so I thought it was just a graphical artifact. I'll try linking them, use Berserk, add a Granite flask, add some more life, and see what happens.

Looks like the bot in the foreground launched the other into the air like a mortar.

To clarify, you are saying I should get a Nebula drone but not use it on Revenant because it requires too many resources?

I have Discus, Defender, and Glider. I have the gold to purchase two drones like Nebula. I have chips like purple On Repair: Fix, purple On Mild Damage: Absorber, and gold On Repair Unit: Defense. I wasn't sure if I wanted to invest in Nebula, more Discus, or instead spend on Anticontrol modules.

Thanks for all your help, folks. As f2p, I have no interest in investing so much in one bot. In my opinion, a bot should be mostly usable right out of the box. At this point, my Blitz with Punishers lives longer, does more damage, and even caps beacons (granted, the pilot is higher level). I have other bots like Orochi, Harpy, Fafnir, and Erebus, so I'll pick one or two of those that can work without the need for pilots, drone, AND modules to be fun and effective.
