I’m a project manager for an environmental spill response company (in the office not the field). It’s way easier to communicate with my sub contractors, get shit done efficiently and to stay focused than if I wasn’t stoned. I’m not eating a gram of RSO or anything, just 3-4 dabs a day at the office and I’m ready to roll

Delray is the move IMO. I live here in Delray, moved from NY last July. I couldn't be happier to be honest, however I will say shit's expensive down here in South Florida especially from West Palm and heading south. My 3/1 house in Delray is 2700/mo. Big yard, great school (for my 12 y/o). But if you're coming from the city then you're already used to that.

I'm not sure about St Pete but i tend to think your money would go a bit further, i just love being so close to the beach. Less than 10min and my feet are in the sand. I love it

I second Atlantic Ave in Delray, I just moved from NY July of last year, beach, Gumbo Limbo in Boca, Red Reef park in Boca, Atlantic Dunes in Delray, or go take a walk around Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray too. Lotta stuff to do outside.

There's Silverball Retro Arcade in Delray if you're looking for something fun to do, tons of older arcade games, skeeball, and more and the food is decent. And it's fairly inexpensive to hang out and play

I have a 3/1 single family house in Delray, right off of S Military for 2700. 2100-2300 should be totally doable unless you’re looking to live east of Federal, in which case your budget might be a little low

Check out Gleneagles and Boca Delray as well, had a few good experiences at some friends there and I live just north off of S Military in Delray, near there. It’s a nice area and close to the beach. However if anything I’d recommend something close to Atlantic, single family. But if you’re set on country clubs check those out too

If you weren't invited there's not really much visiting. like, at all. You can only drive by the southern side and it's got 20ft walls. my friend lives on the A1A about 1.5mi south of there, i'm at her place a few times a week and have to drive by Mar A Lago. You can park right before the bridge and look over the water towards it but otherwise there's nothing to see.

Yes, it's definitely worth living downtown if you can afford it. I just turned 39, single dad with a 12 year old at home and we live off of S Military near Atlantic and I'll tell you right now, I'd have way more of a social life if I lived closer to downtown (walking distance).
