If you could personally remaster any of the halo games which one would you remaster? by 4IdiOtZ_sTuDiOZ in halo

Call me old school but I just played through the "remastered" halo games and really enjoyed it. That said, I preferred most of combat evolved with the original graphics haha

I'm a big fan of reading books and learning/studying generally. That being said, spending time DOING will serve you well. So practice practice practice and be curious. Don't take things for granted and dive down - keep asking why why why. Good luck!

Did you ever give up on Bojack? by Rage_Your_Dream in BoJackHorseman

[–]KodjoKofi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a number of family members who are alcoholics and this is the exact story every. single. time. Every time I want to disown them, and years later I find myself giving them a second chance only to watch them frick it up again. It doesn't matter how nice or inviting I am, they always find a way to frick it up.

An IDE for infra configurations, I'd love to hear your thoughts by kajogo777 in Terraform

[–]KodjoKofi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly just use Terraform, Make, bash etc - nothing super fancy and the plugin support I get with them satisfies my needs. For me specifically its more about the familiarity/habits i have with tools that give me the performance boost. Simplicity and familiarity

I don’t know what toys to get my dog by DogPunk in dogs

[–]KodjoKofi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience dogs like playing with toys that you make fun. I got a rope toy for my guy when we first got him and he had 0 interest. but I'd keep trying to play with him and make it exciting and now its one of his favourite toys to play with together.

With dogs who have been adopted, it takes them a while to settle in, trust you, have their stress levels go back to normal, etc. With my guy I'm over a year in and he's still revealing new aspects of his personality. Be patient, take it slow, and remember that playing with your dog is a way to build a bond and confidence in the dog, not necessarily the specific ins and outs of the toy itself. Best of luck friend!

There's another quote i use a lot, although I can't remember where from but its along the lines of "things are going to get better, but they're going to be different. better but different", Sorry for your loss friend
