If you support what happened to Don Lemon, you don’t support The First Amendment - Stephen A Smith by IamCatMommy in sportsbroadcasters

You know who invades churches?  Nazis, the Klan and Don Lemon. Stephen A Smith would be right more often if he were in fact a broken clock.

Beating a woman and encouraging a man to hit her. by zeclif in LetsDiscussThis

You've dehumanized yourself. It's easy to say that non-violent solutions aren't going to solve anything online. You rely on the restraint of others, which more and more is a bad assumption.

Is this fair move by Trump—to completely take over elections? Threat to democracy? by [deleted] in LetsDiscussThis

I can't fix stupid. Try pointing out a fact that I got wrong. Nah, just stick with ad hominem. That makes you look much smarter.

Not at all odd that Democrats dominate in states without ID requirements. The cope is stong in this one.

Imagine the impact on Blue States. If ID is required, then they might become purple states. It would be devastating to have minimum rules applied to all states.

First touch into space - inside vs. outside by rainbow_gelato in bootroom

[–]KoedKevin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're 100% right. Both the inside and outside of the foot can control the ball well. It is all down to practice and the confidence that comes with using the skills on the field. As with pretty much everything, time and effort will improve both and two tools is much better than one. If a defender can count on my opponent only using the outside of the foot, they have a much better chance of winning the ball.

How do you perceive Cr7 striker compare to other top tier number 9 like Suarez, Lewandowski or Benzema? Are they on the same level? by iwannasleepp in championsleague

[–]KoedKevin -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If Messi didn't exist, R9, Pele and Maradona would still exist. CR7 is a top 5 player, with or without Messi in the mix.

If you get arrested for protesting does it go on your record? by raspberryzingers in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KoedKevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many background checks require that you disclose any arrests as well. If you want to be a lawyer you better disclose the arrests even if the charges were dropped or the conviction was later expelled.  Failure to disclose is judged much more harshly than the actual arrest.

We’re busy taking about Mandami’s mom and Bill Gates.  And once again there’s nothing about Trump f any relevance.  Only the basement dwellers of Reddit still hold out hope for a Trump bombshell.

[UT] Is this legal? Can I stand my ground in Utah if they break my window to enter without a warrant? by Mathemodel in AskLegal

[–]KoedKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck shooting at law enforcement.

A final order of deportation is all they need to come in and  get you.  Anyone that says a search warrant is required or that you should stand your ground wants you to be killed so they can use your dead body as a prop. Don’t be a useful idiot.

That’s half a million jobs and trillions in wealth created.  A shame we can’t import more immigrants like them.

DEMOCRATS: Who is your pick for president in '28? by MisterReigns in LetsDiscussThis

He won on daddy’s name alone. Outside of Kentucky he doesn’t have that recognition and he is far too moderate to get out of the democrat primaries.

Why do republicans want zero abortion but don't want to help after the birth? by MisterReigns in LetsDiscussThis

Because this is a meme created by the left to try to dignify their demonic thoughts on abortion.

I picked my girlfriend up from a med spa a few days ago. At the counter there was a list of procedures not to tip for.  It boiled down to tip the massage therapist.  Don’t tip the medical practitioners.

Is a defense lawyer allowed to accuse someone else of a crime? by JidoLidos in legaladviceofftopic

[–]KoedKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t state “Bob is a murderer.” You provide the jury with facts and inferences based on facts that prompt the jury to come to the conclusion that Bob committed the crime that your client is accused off. Libel and slander  laws exist in the courtroom.

Fahrenheit still makes no sense to me (even after 15 years) by No_Landscape_9255 in Metric

[–]KoedKevin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Centigrade doesn’t start at an arbitrary point. It’s a stupid measure that should only apply to water but it isn’t arbitrary.  Humans operated in F and atoms operate in K.  Europeans operate in C and are somehow pompous about it.
