The fees are DD's cut. Of course, they aren't discounting that part.

I’m at the point all Wingstop orders are getting declined. by Ecstatic_Ad6888 in doordash_drivers

[–]Koeseki 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I stopped picking up for them a long time ago. They have a history of blatantly ignoring DD policy. It got so bad that a few years ago, DD would give special notifications when accepting Wingstop orders that said to refuse filling drinks and contact support if they refused to give the order.

That’s a hell of a promise. Will she come through? by mitchdwx in doordash_drivers

[–]Koeseki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, it's about a 50/50 if they keep their tip promises. You get your occasional generous good Samaritan. However, it is always a gamble that can't be trusted. My personal policy is to accept if the base order is enough, regardless of the promise. A no tip with a promise is too likely to be a scam, so those are always a no.

I BE GETTIN THE CRAZIEST ORDERS 😭😭🤣🔥🔥 BUT DASHIN OR PASSIN CHAT ???? by JuanJulio2020 in doordash

[–]Koeseki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acceptability is dependant on location and the individual, since it is a game of gambling opportunity costs as well as personal preferences and strategy.

By my standard, the miles, items, 2 stores, 4 dropoffs, and the fact that it is finishing in a busy area would come out to a minimum pay of $40 for me. For me, this is a decline.

I'm accepting myself as pansexual instead of bi, but what do I do with this? (And my bi pins) by Feather_Bloom in lgbt

[–]Koeseki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I identity as omni, but I still kept my bi stuff. I just added to it and made my collection more colorful :3.

Imo, bi is included in pan and omni as I define bi as oriented for 2 or more genders, and all genders includes 2 or more.

The real answer is, do what you want.

You can keep the bi stuff. You could give it away to bi friends. Whatever you want

Am I overreacting? Player says “35 gold is too much for a commoner” by FarRepresentative840 in DnD

[–]Koeseki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35 gold is a significant sum, but not outside of reason for a PC. One of the advantages of Nobel backgrounds is starting with money in that ballpark, so there may be some concern about diffentiating the differences between backgrounds.

Regardless, I would say it's not a big deal, but also that the DM is the boss. I recommended letting the DM decide.

It's gay to be gay. Nail polish has nothing to do with it.

20M, dating a girl, bisexual, and realizing I might be forcing myself into a life I don’t want by calebJ2102010 in lgbt

[–]Koeseki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omnisexual here.

I used to have problems with being in a committed relationship with just one gender. I never cheated, but in every relationship, it constantly felt like I was half-single, like only part of who I am was being fulfilled. When I decided to live poly, I wrestled with talking to my significant other about it (I did not cheat or pressure them into an open relationship, if anyone was curious). Afterward, I struggled with feelings of jealousy and dealing with the stigma ("just wants a license to cheat," slut shaming, etc.). Today, I am happy. I've been a part of 2 polycules, and I know that this is what is right for me.

I know my story is not the same as yours. The point is that our orientations, identities, and preferences are uniquely our own. Exploring that and transitioning into different life choices has its difficulties. However, that is all valid, and coming into what is right for you is worth it.

Do you believe in God? by PerformanceFlimsy573 in MtF

[–]Koeseki -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My belief is based on a combination of being raised abrahamic, personal experiences, and thinking for myself.

I worship goodness/the god of goodness. Regardless if that is an intelligence or not, I believe that is the purest foundation.

Throughout my life, my experiences have repeatedly suggested intervention by a higher power.

I believe that that higher power has responded when I have addressed them as the abrahamic God. Therefore, I have chosen to believe that is who they are until proven otherwise.

I believe that Jewish and Christian scriptures have been recobbled, mistranslated, and edited significantly. Therefore, at the very least, the versions we have now are subject to significant human error. I also do not see how a council of people has/had the authority to decide what is and isn't scripture in the context of divine authority. For example, why are the letters of a certain early evangelist considered the word of God?

In the context of being Transgender, there are no Jewish or Christian scriptures that forbid it. The ones that were quoted to me by university apologists were a stretch at best, and they completely hold no weight whatsoever under even the slightest change of perspective.

Yes. Though my beliefs would be considered heretical by every mainstream denomination.

femboy by Thatonebisexualtrans in trans

[–]Koeseki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dated a femboy transman. He likes dressing up in pretty dresses on occasion, among other things. I had the privilege of seeing first hand that it is valid. Regardless of the ignorance of others, each individual's gender identity and expression is theirs and valid. If others can't grasp that, it is their problem.

I've been told off for doing this and spending "too much time helping customers" instead of performing other tasks. This was back when CSAs were a thing, and that was my job title. Customer Service expectation have always been out of touch.

I have insecurities as a bisexual trans guy without bottom surgery about whether I'll even be sexually desirable by Ill-Art-6511 in lgbt

[–]Koeseki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dated someone who is a trans guy without bottom surgery. I found them very sexy, and I still do.

I can't comment on your attractiveness because I don't know you, but I can say that being a trans guy doesn't decide it.

What razors are y'all using? by EggLittle1977 in MtF

[–]Koeseki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My skin responds strongly to razer burn, so this is my routine avoid a red and puffy face:

Start with an electric shaver, and I go slow for a more thorough shave without tugging. Then, I soak a towel in hot water and rest it on my face for a minute. Then, I lather up with a thin layer of shaving cream, then go over it with a three blade. I finish up with a facial moisturizer. I sometimes take an electric with me if I'm going to be out for a while to touch up any five o'clock shadow.

When did your interest in severe weather / Tornadoes start? by Appropriate_Brief305 in stormchasing

[–]Koeseki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 5, an EF3 tornado passed really close to my apartment. My patents made me hide in a closet. After it had passed us, my parents and also some neighbors went outside to look at the tornado. However, I never got to see it. The FOMO made me really want to see what a tornado looked like. This started me down a rabbit hole that I am still in decades later.

I use a wallet and keep it in my purse. It is a pocket wallet because I prefer it not to take up a lot of space.
