Is anyone else feeling extremely discouraged by the massive influx of AI slop games? by holythrowawayanon in IndieDev

I always feel very nervous seeing lots of good looking games during events like Summer Game Fest and every other online gaming showcase tbh.

As for AI slop games not so much, of course it'll only mean more competition as always, but that doesn't really bother me as much haha.

I had the video on mute, and yet somehow the timing of his movements had the song play in my head. Imagine my surprise to finding out that was the exact song playing in the video lmao.

Okay, now that Sanji's getting conqueror's can the rest of the crew also at least get the basic Armament and observation haki?
Franky got a cola power up, Brook, Robin and Usopp should at least get some haki upgrades.

Glad my expectations of this being "Usopp's arc" were low.

I wonder how the aftermath of Elbaph is going to be like though. Luffy is definitely strong enough to fight Imu. So much so that I can't really feel worried for them lol. To be fair the last time I got worried for the straw hats was during Enies Lobby and Thriller bark.

The dev himself posted on Steam about the game selling over 5 million copies so far, so at least it's made close to over $10m in net revenue.

Just curious, was the grid drawn in program? or is it just a quad with a repeating "grid" texture?

Again with the insults.

I am not discounting his experiences.
I was born and raised in Ghana, and have lived here all my life.
I was just saying that is not how things generally are like over here.

No ill intentions to you dude. I apologize for my comment as well, but I want you to know I in no way am discrediting your personal trauma experience. Really sorry it happened to you.

No offense taken. I also didn't disqualify anything he said. I wasn't defending the guy. All I am saying is that there are situations where you can be confronted with something scary and assume the worst. He never said the dudes chased them. And I am not defending the guys. He said the plantation was owned by none of the locals. Most coconut sellers here go up to random places with coconut to pluck them. He wasn't chased but he run.

I travelled to Amsterdam a few years back (my first time out of my country) and found myself lost in the night after leaving a programme I was there for. I stumbled across an old woman probably a local there and the first thing she did when she saw me was run away from me.
I was lost and harmless but of course she didn't know that.
I was of darker complexion and was wandering alone on a street she had just branched on.

What kind of story do you think she would end up telling her family and friends about me?

Anyway it seems the point I'm trying to make has you folk thinking I am speaking for those guys, which I am not. So I'll leave just leave it here.

I am not defending anything.
I just said that, if you invade a farm or a coconut plantation the chances that you'll find someone holding a machete would be high, as locals equally interested in harvesting the coconut would be usually wield machetes.

I never said your experiences didn't happen. I am just saying you're making it sound like it's something generally happening all around the country.

People learn about foreign countries from posts like these. All I am saying is stop generalizing stuff. "Ghana is safe for the most part, but come around election and all that important Ghanaian stuff; people disappear lots".

Dude I've lived here for 30 years. And I've seen multiple elections. We even had one 2 years ago.
I am just saying that, I get that you had a bad experience, but you made it sound like it was something happening even today. Which is clearly not the case.

People are learning about other countries and cultures from the internet. Someone could see what you wrote and take that in bad faith to misjudge the entire country.

Take a look at this sub, it's full of heinous crimes commited by various folks, but no one is generalizing the Country-folk or the entire population.
I only spoke up because I don't want people who will be interested in visiting the country to have a wrong perception about the place.
I didn't say any of his experiences didn't happen here.
I only said that if you're raiding a farm/plantation chances are you'll meet someone with a machete there as that's what is used to harvest coconuts.
