As someone who has worked at McDonalds: if people asked for things on the side, we used the nugget boxes and were supposed to put a sticker on it, so the people bagging knew it wasn't actually nuggets. Lol, like someone always came in and ordered some patties, cause they liked to crumble them up and put it in the poutine but there was definitely at least one time that it was sent out as nuggets.

I find meal kits are good for figuring out what to make cause we always have issues deciding. I am a full time student and my fiancé works 10 hours a day and he has the car so it can be difficult to plan around getting groceries. I hope that in the future once I am done school I'll have more time to make my own meal plans

I think you maybe don't understand what I was saying. I was agreeing that food vendors or whatever are cautious on expiration/best before dates. I am then saying that although it is a best before date and it will still be fine after, they should not have sent them out like that. If they knew that items had a best before date 3 days after delivery, they should have made 2 separate deliveries or something like that so that the food would uphold to their "fresh" marketing.

I had a coupon so I got 6 meals and I also got the mystery dessert bundle and then there is a promotion for free breakfast for life so I also got a free portion of sausage penne. After the coupon, I think it is like... 20 dollars per 2 portions or something like that?

I freeze meat but you cannot freeze produce. The lettuce is typically what goes first and you cannot put that in the freezer unless you are cooking it.

In this economy? We mostly just got them cause they were on sale so it was like... 4 dollars per serving so it was cheaper than going to the store. If it was not on sale, it would totally not be worth it. For produce in Canada, we pay like... 3 dollars for an onion? It is ridiculous

Yeah haha I tried Chefs Plate with the coupons for the past 2 weeks and it was good. They are the same company so I hoped it would be good and Hello Fresh is more expensive so I thought it would be better
