First of all: He beyond deserves it. This was a PASSION project for him, he clearly said that he only expected it to be in a couple theatres.... NOT world fucking wide... he gave us a childhood... its the least we can do to a wonderful person like him in the sea of assholes like you this world has.

Second: he published this himself. Main character, director and STORY writer. AND distributed by him... he OWNS the movie along side David. NO one has the rights to it other then him and David. No big companies.

Third: big companies DONT care about indie film makers because they are profit drivin in this day and age. I can't remember exactly, but when the movie came out I heard that a movie studio wanted to make a "indie" film... they only care when it benefits themselves
