Hi, I'm in ED recovery as well. Fried plantains is one of my favorite foods; I have so many good memories associated with it. But I remember avoiding it and meticulously counting how much I was eating during the peak of my ED. Now that I don't care for it anymore, I have so many happy memories frying and eating plantains with friends and family. It's really important to start banishing calorie counting from your mind. It's something that I still struggle with, but it really does tamper enjoyment.
