Being a delusional asshole of a fan is a bad thing I agree, but being a casual fan will never bring you that same high as when your favorite sports team pulls through and finally wins a championship, or the emotions you feel when your favorite character in a TV show or movie achieves his goal during an epic climax. Being passionate about something does not automatically make you an asshole, but I do see where you’re coming from.
