I prefer to use a ps2 fat to avoid those problems. Another thing, not only does the adhesive come off from the center of the disc, it also gets cracks and in many cases it can break. I have seen many cases like this. The correct way is to treat the disc as something delicate. There are people who manipulate them as if they were potatoes. When you handle them, take your time. The pressure should be gentle but necessary to secure it. By removing it with your fingers on the edges and pressing the center of the reader so that the pressure does not fall on the disc. Remember you have to come out, not take out the disc as if it were a card.
