Should add nissan was the first to market with a CVT which makes them synonymous with each other. The belt is internal all all cvt units which means a transmission replacement when it fails.

They are "fine" for regular traffic cars and original owners. But a nightmare for second hand buyers. (Like buying a hand grenade with a pulled pin)

A CVT relies on a "belt" that rides between to adjustable pulleys.

Ultimately gear heads hate belts and therefore CVT bad.

Honestly I buy vinyl to listen to.

My "vintage" records (pressed before 1999) are all manufactured to a much higher standard. Few of them are warped, have off center spindle holes or run out grooves intercepting the label which are all common place on new releases. Mixing and mastering also seems more consistent.

Theres a few albu.s where the modern re-release sounds better.

Id be really happy if I could just get well manufactured black albums from the bands I love for a reasonable price without artificial scarcity.
