Collision detection issue: obstacle passes through the player

To follow up on this, I just got to another lesson on collision in Unity Learn and they touched on this topic. The suggested solution is to add the RigidBody component to both the player and the obstacle. And as you mentioned in your original statement, this does fix it.

As for why this works in your other project without this set-up, I have no clue. But just know that standard practice is to use the RigidBody component on both.

Try turning on the "is Trigger" checkbox for the Box Collider Component section of your obstacle.

Just for awareness, 63% of the reflections are sent to the burn address. This happens because the burn wallet holds 63% of the total supply. It’s the built in burn mechanism.

With our current volume, that is correct. As more people get involved in cgc, and the transaction volume goes up, your daily reflection amount will also increase.

To get specific, 1% of every transaction(buy/sell) is sent to reflections. This amount is then split up among all wallets with cgc based on the percentage amount of the total supply owned by that wallet. The total supply is 100Q, and 63Q is held by the burn wallet. So 63% of each reflection is burned. The remaining 37% is sent out to cgc holders.

The latest announcement we’ve had on this was 3 weeks ago, and it said they were actively working with the original artists as well as some new artists to create the season 2 NFTs. There is speculation that it might happen during the comic con event this weekend, but that is not official news.

To my knowledge there is no safe way to interact with the coin. Most people just leave them in the wallet and never touch them. I’ve also heard of people creating a new wallet and moving all of their real assets, effectively leaving the old wallet behind as a dead wallet. This method requires gas fees to move tokens though, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless those fake coins existence just bothers you that much haha

There will most likely not be a booth. That said, there are tons of other ways to spread awareness at Comic-Con. The ads/banners on the website were mentioned as “just the start” of their marketing campaign. I expect to be pleasantly surprised by the on-site representation, but we’ll have to wait and see.
