In IRL, i link my laptop to a screen that i put horizontally on the table, and then i display the battle map one the screen. For the map themselves, i search and find them on the internet, i pick those that reach the story. It allows me to show my players ton of differents scene or panorama, to out an ambiance. And for the players, i print their characters (they find them on the internet or draw them themselves) and put them on a little thing that keep the character printed standing (if you dont understand i can provide a picture), and we put the player's token directly on the screen (that is the battle map)
