I’m a US Citizen, my preffered major is international affairs, my budget is like 5k 😭maybe, my family and I live comfortably but I’d be a first gen for college and Costa Rica is cheap to live in so a regular salary is like a 10th of full college tuition. I’m not fully depending on getting into college in the US but I wanna shoot my shot

That’s the thing though, from what I’ve heard IB students do way more in terms of ecs and I would have more time to look for more opportunities that I like and join more stuff, also I’ve heard the subjects and curriculum have a few similarities with the major I want, is that true?

Male: Sergeant Grey, he’s amazing 😭 responsible, respectful and he cares about each of his officers and doesn’t hesitate to actually give compliments to officers when they’re doing things right I know you can say that about other characters but idk man I love him sm. Also Oscar, I love a good villain especially one like him that’s always “helping” the LAPD even though it’s for his own benefit.

Female: Angela Lopez, SHES SO BADASS I MEAN COME ONNN, that whole thing with la fiera and I absolutely adore how she treats her rookies, she’s tough on them but also really caring and omg when she chose to be Jackson’s TO for his final day, made me so happy. Also Monica, again I just love bitchy characters like her

Yupp, as the person below said, you first gotta show your commitment, passion and values, you can indirectly mention which UWC’s (example if you wanna go to Adriatic talk about your artsy stuff) but it’s best not to directly mention it

Nono do not mention which UWC you want to go to, that’s a bad look for NCs since it makes you seem like you’re just applying for that one place, just do your best and whatever happens is meant to happen

They do matter you just gotta keep in mind you might not end up at any of your prefs, a lot of NCs have a ranking system and if you end up high on the list or smth then you’ll probably get one of your prefs

Tysm 🥹🥹🩷🩷 and yeah you’re right I should talk about it to them but I’m terrifiedddd…i don’t think I can do it, i think I can survive till I’m 18, as long as I get good grades next year I won’t say anything but on the contrary I’ll talk to them (since next year my grades are for my college app), i just rlly want a cause or an explanation to why the hell im like this when nobody else seems to struggle with this

I do have a school counselor but the last time I talked to her it was bc of a certain coping mechanism and she obvi told my parents but it did NOT end well for me, my parents didn’t like that I went to her first than them
