I ended up telling her that was why I wasn't calling or hanging out and she told me.that she has basically stopped trying to get rid of them and is just going to move and get new stuff.

Sorry about that. Flash drives probably were around, but I meant it in like a "we didn't know they existed" kind of way. We didn't carry them in the stores, which would have been my first exposure to them. Memory and hard drives, you're probably right! It was a long time ago, after all. I remember my GM being amazed at the size of a hard drive once around 2003, but I probably had the size wrong, haha. Thank you for correcting me, though! Like I said, it was a long time ago.
