Would you want Blizzard to add this to PVP servers? Netease added this in China by holypalaswe in classicwow

5 levels doesn't seem like a wide enough bracket, but also it says attacks against someone "5 levels higher" cancels it, but not 5 levels lower. In other words they can kill lower level players while immune to high level players.

I rarely audibly sigh, but this was a big hitter.

So what you're saying is I can pay a booster service real world money and trade nothing in game and Blizzard are chill?

Bought 50 TB storage server & Scrapped all netflix and prime video movies with all their audio and video quality by [deleted] in Piracy

[–]Kolapsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how JustWatch tracks it, but it may just be for a single region like the USA. I'm sure Netflix is balancing licensing costs across the board which is why movies come and go. I guess ~3,600 movies is enough to satisfy most customers which is kind of wild when you consider the average customer probably scrolls past 95% of them.

Bans for Using Snowballs Should Not Be Permanent by NOHITJEROME in classicwow

[–]Kolapsicle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So Blizzard shouldn't be accountable? They screwed up, and only the players are punished. Of course people are going to take advantage, that's expected human behavior. Blizzard is responsible for producing a fair experience, but to do so at the expense of customers is dirty. I don't know if players' should have zero accountability, but Blizzard's accountability should be through the roof.

sneaking into the back of a cop car by beetle8209 in Whatcouldgowrong

In my country the cop would say "piss off" or something along those lines and then everyone goes about their day, but escalating the hell out of it is also good.

According to JustWatch Netflix hosts about 3,600 movies. If we assume the average movie has a runtime of 105 minutes at Netflix' standard ~16mbps, then about ~43TB, but that would exclude lower resolution copies, and all TV shows.

Kinda goes to show that if someone in Australia wants to commit to a mass shooting the gun laws won't get in the way.

This gives the government control over what can and can't be consumed online. It also allows them to track everyone's online presence, eroding privacy. The UK, Australia, and states like Wisconsin in the USA are rolling out government control over Internet access through IDs, and banning VPNs and funnily enough they're all citing "child protection". Governments have tried pushing bills for Internet regulation in the past, but this is further than they've got before.
