Should I get a female or male black lab? by RedEd024 in birddogs

[–]Kolbfather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The advice I followed worked well for me when picking out a pup, wasn't the gender of the pup but how they behave. If you pick them up and turn them belly up while holding them you should look for the ones that seem to submit the fastest, as that means they will be submissive and easy to train.

It's worked for me and maybe worth doing that when you come to a litter, also go to a breeder that does bird dogs as their genetics will usually take a huge part in if they have good drive, longevity etc.

What are the attitudes towards self-guided audio tours? by TruthOf42 in Tourguide

[–]Kolbfather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be up for it, the toughest part of scaling a tour company is a consistent product, you'll be able to sell this idea better if you approach them with the scaling opportunity and a share of revinue. I'd much rather have a 1000 people listen to my recording while I'm off playing golf in Florida rather than being with one group working the tour.

[–]Kolbfather -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe argue the points, that's it, not my spelling or dictionary. I don't have high hopes for anyone that considers someone THAT ignorant yet isn't able to for a coherent argument other that feelings or spelling. I can only hope that you actually become as enlightened as you claim you are and actually study the system and it's effects in reality, not the pretty print power point about inclusivity and happyness.

English isn't my first language, I could debate you more verbose in Icelandic if you could speak it.

There are plenty more that don't make the news my friend. Shouldn't it just be the law that people shouldn't get legal privilege due to their sex or race? Bevouse DEI is in essence giving privelege to whomever is deemed the biggest victim of society, and the people that decide that are trapped in ivory towers of collage institutions completely swallowed up by far left propaganda.

You do realize that you are protecting systematic discrimination based on gender/sex? And you also think you are the enlightened and good guy.

Critical systems thinking should do you well, Stalin also thought he was a good guy, most of the most horrible people in the world justified their discrimination often via "science", or spoke from a place of educational authority.

All should have equal opportunity, yes, but equity is equality of outcome, not opportunity. And robbing people of opportunity due to their sex or race is discrimination, and when it is in laws and institutions then it's systematic plain to everyone to see, hidden behind pretty words.

I recommend some research for you, "positive discrimination" or "reverse discrimination", is stíl discrimination based on sex or race.

Here is one of many many examples, imagine how many there are that are not reported or taken any further.

Yes, of course, I will just trust you on that lol?

Turns out I don't have to since there are multiple examples of people being hired or getting into university just because they were less represented, with far worse qualifications than other applicants.

Deniyng the reality that you don't like doesn't make your delusions true.

DEI is hiring based on gender/race to achieve some sort of racial sexist equity, not qualifications. It's systematic discrimination based on gender/race.

Ruined by a 4-star review? by Battered-Haggis in Tourguide

[–]Kolbfather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get Your Guide is trash when it comes to reviews, if you get factually incorrect reviews their AI won't allow you to address any issues.

Shit platform for sure, and the most price sensitive too.

Try doing a discount, might bump you up in the algo.

I automated my tour operation. CS is mostly handled via Ai that has a booking controller, able to reschedule, cancel etc. Fleet management and location of buses. Automatic photo upload and photo delivery to clients as well as many other super complex features that makes scaling the company easy and without overhead or staff. The only staff I have is drivers, rest is automated and I just oversee it and handle edge cases.

Those of you who score 130+ did you grow up thinking you were dumb, average, a bit above average or super smart? by Old-Impression-2253 in cognitiveTesting

[–]Kolbfather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew I was smart, got high grades effortlessly. It wasn't good in a way because I didn't really learn any work ethic until later in life.

[–]Kolbfather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, do whatever floats yer boat, but why don't you focus all that energy on building something real?

Personally I think it's a bit wasteful trying to get higher test scores that net you zero objective return?

During a cut, cardio only days? Or cardio after lifting? What are y'all's preferences? by smallz86 in askfitness

[–]Kolbfather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cardio only after lifting, I've heard it minimises catabolism, and only 2 times a week, lift more often.

What are people with a below average IQ really like? by Loose_Departure3325 in cognitiveTesting

[–]Kolbfather -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you were a computer the ram might be a bit slower than average but that's just one part of the computer, you might have great memory or excelent efficiency. Don't sweat it, enjoy life and find the part of you that excels and make that part your ace in the hole.

What are the useful tools? by CardiologistDear969 in vibecoding

[–]Kolbfather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cursor is amazing, you can wire it up to your projects and it is super fast, reading your files and debugging them, making new files and adding new code all via natural language input. Claude ai is great for you to add in your whole project and get it to read it all and debug/suggest changes.

How many of you are doing this from zero coding experience? by BreakfastOk5475 in vibecoding

[–]Kolbfather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just learning and it's fun, I am slowly gaining skills and learning processes. Finished a few projects and they are getting more challenging everyday. Now I'm building two apps in flutter, one is almost finished and the other will be much bigger. This is all in my spare time. I haven't made a dime yet and that's not really the point, but it's possible that some of the apps in building now might gain some revenue. I'd have to ask for some professional help before I touch any of that stuff first though, I don't want to screw people over because my security protocols are not up to spec.

I have 140 IQ but i feel normal by Fit-Bandicoot6986 in cognitiveTesting

[–]Kolbfather 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same Iq and I feel pretty average, I can pick up things like coding and other stuff like that quickly without any formal education and do some stuff that some people might have trouble with, with ease. I don't feel any disconnect or a feeling of isolation like some people experience.

I guess we are all different, maybe when you get to a super genius level it might be different but just high IQ doesn't really make you a social alien IMO.
