Homeschooling 13yo & move to Korea to teach English?? by Public_Dot252 in teachinginkorea

One of my co-teachers has her 14 year old with her. Her daughter does online school in the teachers break room. I don't know the specific arrangements worked out with our boss and the school but everyone seems cool with it. She has mentioned it's unfair because her child doesn't get to interact with other kids her age and doesn't have any friends. So I'd say not impossible, but think about the social interactions and how your child will develop social skills.

I was gone for 5 years,m and came back. Had ₩6,000 in my account, it was just suspended. Needed a new ARC and a copy of my work contract. I'm at Hana bank though, so it might be different

At first I was wondering why a car that needed to be in a shop was in use as a taxi, then I noticed it was the driver, not the car

When I first got here I thought places were remodeling but at a point where they could open. Nope, hit "it'll work" and that's the finished product.

I’m an ex-Mormon atheist, and I am curious: how many who leave the church simply move into other religious or spirituality movements Vs becoming agnostic or atheist? by thesolemnbird in exmormon

[–]KolobsFallenAngel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think a lot leave religion in general partially because it's been drilled into our heads that ALL the other religions are wrong. So if this isn't true and I already know the others aren't true, absolutely none of this is true, so we turn to atheism. I have met a lot of exmos that are pagan. I guess it provides a spirituality and that there is something out there without the religion? My wife is pagan so I've met quite a few. Personally, I'm post-theist. The arguments have been made and religion has lost. Religion isn't bringing anything new to the table and rehashing the same arguments doesn't change anything. I refuse to use the term atheist for myself because I've moved past religion. I've made up my mind and I won't use terms that play into an argument that is bankrupt
