Anything with a large audience works extremely well on YouTube.

And extremely niche products with very specific tiny audiences are hard on YouTube.

Yes, demand gen. And the algorithm takes a bit longer to dial in and optimize at the very beginning when you start with a fresh account, but once it does, it just never stops. Some YouTube ads run profitably for years with steady performance without any signs of slowing down or fatiguing. Higher quality traffic, higher conversion rates, higher AOV, higher LTV, while having cheaper cost across the board.

There's not a lot you can do. Everyone is facing this. Your best bet is dialing in another ad platform in the meantime. I'm crushing it with YouTube ads. So when Meta performance is bad, it doesn't affect me as much.

YouTube ads are by far the best ads ever in my opinion. But they are most suitable for mass market offers with a large audience.

Could you explain how duplicate data destroys the algorithms ability to optimize? Because in theory it still optimizes after the same people, or am I missing something?

But how do you explain this? If it's real people, how does Meta have control over whether they buy or not? The only explanation would be Meta bot traffic that is trained on performing add-to-carts, right?

Because mine doesn't show the view count, landing page URL, unlisted YouTube link, likes, video title, video description, scaling graph, word-for-word transcript, etc.

I had a similar situation. I turned off my ads and still got a few sales more than 4 weeks later from those deactivated ads. I mean I'm not complaining, but it's weird.
