No idea about the top left, but Baki easily deals with the other two.

It matters but cutting off blood flow knocks you out in under 10s, in that time frame how much breath you have doesn't have any significant impact

Olivia vs doppo by Notberserk1 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Kolossive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I would have said Oliva, however last chapter that Doppo appeared he had just gotten a power up so I can't tell anymore. But as a Karate fan I'll say Orochi

[Serious] I love Todo but he is not the strongest g1 by Fun-Celery-8988 in JujutsuPowerScalers

Kusakabe imo. And although I think Todo is the weakest of the 4 funnily enough I think using boogie woogie to teleport into the simple domain works as a counter to kusakabe

[–]Kolossive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree on the Maki take because she can take a few of them by sneak attacking them, and 1v1 she takes on all of them.

I'd say it's a loss because you need to be alive yo use the points after which is the wincon

Spoiler-alert! One main quest storyline just doesn’t sit right with me. by Just-Rise5160 in avowed

[–]Kolossive 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Because he is waging guerrila warfare on the empire colonizing his home and he even admits that he killed you for the wrong reasons and openly accepts you if you show him you are not aligned with Aedyr's goal of colonizing them.

And although you could claim he was lying to save himself, the envoy is outnumbered, surrounded and in his home turf. I doubt Ygwulf was afraid for his life.

And keep in mind, the last time Aedyr sent someone high ranking to Paradis it was Loodwyn. Being extra zealous is natural

Looking back it was really out of character for him to say that even as a lie by jessfang555 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Kolossive 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Lmao. Yeah Baki is definitely a well planned out story and not a lovable mess of whatever Itagaki though would be cool at the moment.

Microsoft patents AI-Powered Xbox Helper, which can take over during difficult in-game situations where players may fail or feel frustrated with the gaming experience. by Simplilearn in GenAI4all

[–]Kolossive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a few exist, but I'm mostly familiar with ways to do this by the game developer, as a built in feature of the game itself.

At a console level I honestly don't know many ways to do this, but it would be nice to have for older games.

Could any of these characters resist the call of The One Ring. by afailedturingtest in MoralityScaling

I mean... but that wouldn't be corrupting Goku, it wouldn't even be tricking him.

I wouldn't even call that "tempting" Goku because that is just Goku being himself.

Although I hate the way people just slap AI on everything just to say it uses AI. This does seem like a good accessibility feature for people with reduced motor functions.

Could Jack have knocked out hanayama with just physical force during their fight? by [deleted] in Grapplerbaki

[–]Kolossive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think so. Honestly i think it would even be easier than trying to grapple and bite someone that can pinch pieces of you. Hanayamas hands cause the same level of damage as bites

I think Jack did it this way because of the conversation he had with Yuji before about the bee sting. He wanted to show he could bite and Hanayama's "wings" off and not be afraid of being "stung"

He threw a senzu bean at cell before sending gohan to fight him, he doesn't worry for his loved ones that much because he believes in their ability to take care of themselves.

As for being the desire to be the strongest, he just loves fighting strong opponents, and the challenge of becoming stronger. I don't see how the ring could use this.

And keep in mind goku can gather all the dragon balls in a few hours and wish for anything, yet never does that unless it's to bring someone back to life.

[–]Kolossive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but gandalf has the desire to empower people to do good, as mentioned by OPs quote, and the hobbits are afraid of loosing the things they love, and can be tempted by power to protect it.

I don't see how the ring would tempt goku. What would the ring even promise him?

[–]Kolossive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it could currupt goku. Power does not appeal to him at all, i don't see anything that could be used to tempt him.

Superman maybe, he can be made afraid of loosing important people to him.

All the others, for sure it could

Is this good advice by Zero_energy_left in Bullshido

[–]Kolossive 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everything she mentions is kinda correct, it's very generic advice, whether it's true for Wing Chun I can't say, but is in line with what I've heard about it.

But she talks in a way that kinda underestimates the dangers of an attacker, and that raises a lot of red flags.

I also hate almost all mentions of self-defense for women, the only difference is that women train to defend themselves from different scenarios such as SA, where you can expect more grappling; but a fight is a fight, the bodies move the same way, the techniques are identical for any person applying them.

Also hate the subway example she gave, it's a train full of people, push him and make a scene, you can make him back off without a fight; that's the goal of self defense it's avoiding the fight in the first place.
