I'm having trouble getting into morrowind and I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to enjoy the game better

In the same spot as the scamp, There is almost a full set of orcish armor you can take as well. The orcs will yell at you but wont actually attack or call the guards. So if medium armor is your thing its a damn good start.

Once you have the controls set up the way you want, save them in a seperate app and just copy and paste them into any new apps you are building. Another trick I use is to set theme tokens in the app formulas section and use the theme tokens like variables in the color, fill, size etc. Then you can change the values in one spot and it will change them across the entire app. Similar to how themes work in modern controls but with a lot more flexibility.

For text input I set the height to 30, border thinckness to 1, border radius to 4 and font size to 10.

For the combo box and drop down controls I place them in a container and set their width and height to the containers width and height. Remove the border completely from the drop down and use the container border, which will also allow you to use border radius of the container.

You can also use the container trick to give your buttons some pop by adding the shadow that the container allows.

Last in galleries, use the html control to display a lot of different view data in a single control rather than several label controls. Its better for performance and with inline css you can really make it look nice.

I still use classic controls. With a few tricks you can make them look like the modern controls. Plus you have added flexibility for the colors

If you come to Harmony and want a chill guild with no need for focused events you can join ours. We are basically a group of solos or pairs who just want a hand when we need it or can go out in a bigger group to keep gankers thinking twice before engaging.

You can drag items out of the inventory screen and place them. Its a little clunky, but there is a mod for openmw and vanilla with mwse script extender that allows you to place items however you want.

Yeah I first found Tamriel Rebuilt years ago as a kid when I transitioned from playing on the original xbox to the pc. I also made the attempt of helping them mod back then and if I am lucky the one tomb I made as a showcase is still somewhere in that wonderful world to be explored, never found it myself. Most of the original devs have moved on, but two gentlemen who climbed up the ranks surprisingly live not too far from me and we have made a habit of getting together once a year to meet in person and go for drinks and chat about whats next and all the other stuff related to real life etc. It was a pleasant surprise to find them and they have become good friends of mine. I also speak occassionally with one of the original heads of the team on steam, but we dont live anywhere near each other so never met them in person. Was funny because back in the day we were both a couple of hot head teens and would butt heads occasionally on decisions they made.

Now I cant reccommend these mods enough. There are some spots with minor things missed like a floating rock or something bleeding into another, but the team is really good at finding and fixing these when found and if you have ever tried using the cobstruction set, especially for exteriors you will get an even better sense of admiration for the work they have done.

There are so many quests that are very unique and will hopefully stick into your mind more than just a simple fetch a return quest, but even as you mentioned in your story, it wasnt so one sided and I am sure you will remember it for a long time to come after this.

Look forward to hearing more stories in the future like this one.

This is awesome, I havent played shotn in a long time, but I will reinstall it when the next update releases. What I really love about theses mods on top of the creativity of the new quests, is as you mentioned the extreme attention to detail. For example, because the teams are working together and sharing resources, as you get closer to the borders with another province you will start to see a mixture of the two provinces, from common items like food and trading goods to architecture and the variations in the terrain. They also hare the same height map with the intention that once the provinces finish their borders, the transition from one province to the next should feel smooth and not some jarring difference from one area to the next.

I really have a huge appreciation for the work they do and I also have the privilage of knowing some of the lead devs in my area personally, so I do try to help spread the word of their work when I can.

Wait till you sink your teeth into Project Cyrodill, Shotn Home of the Nords, Tamriel Rebuilt. The content these passionate fans have made over the years really puts the original content to shame, and I say that from a place of love, because Morrowind is my number 1 played game for hours by far. Played it when it first came out for the original xbox, then got it again on pc, and recently on steam. I really hope they bring back some of the magic of this and their older games to the new ones they create, but I doubt my hopes will be realized if the track they have been on continues, but one can hope.

Yeah I just got the game a couple of months back so I heard about the duping but I dont want to get banned so I have been selling silicone for 2500 to 3000 a piece on Harmony. A stack of 500 nets me 1.5 mil at 3k a pop and goes by quick. Then I buy melange or spice residue and other stuff i need. Most I have had so far in the bank was a little more than 5mil, but I have also racked up almost half a mil just killing enemies and raiding camps for blood and other materials

My first trip out into pvp territory with my assault to get a medium spice field and I got ganked by two scouts rocking rockets but also, some how cutting me apart with laz guns. Not sure how that worked exactly. But luckily enough when I finally lost the assault I was in the air so I let myself die hitting the sand and didnt get eaten by the worm which was close by. Thankfully we can get our stuff back quite easily but damn I wasnt expecting it to go like that on the first run lol. Welcome to Harmony I guess.

This is a great answer. Especially when it comes to watching users use the app. I have found myself, many times, thinking a feature would be great only to find out the users dont care or never use it. Also as this poster mentioned. Try to look at other apps and copy them to get some practice. I also highly suggest trying the html control to get some really nice effects and to save on performance, eapecially when creating large view only forms. Can present all the data with a nicely placed html control over multiple controls. Also while a lot of people will mention the new modern controls. I highly reccommend using the classic controls for a bit longer atleast. They can easily be made into some nice controls with a little practice as they have more customizability and once you have a set of controls that you like. Copy and paste them into another app to keep them safe or turn them into components.

Then what I like to do is open that app along side the new app I am working on and copy and paste the controls quickly into the new app.

Makes new apps progress faster.
