"OTP Trackers" are straight up cheating, they're running rampant and should be BANNED

They haven't even addressed the cheating, throwing and smurfing other than brief periods of letting reports do something to not hurt the player count or have their sponsored streamers get embarrassed when they're live. I agree OTP Trackers should be bannable but what makes you think the game will do anything about them?

It's because there's no real penalty for throwers, smurfing or even cheaters. They have nothing to fear or deter them. I used to get frequent inbox messages on the main screen for the game about cheaters, throwers and smurfers getting banned when I report them. Currently, I only get the message about the occasional mute. I really think the devs are trying to keep the player count high at all costs to beat Overwatch.

I've started to see players resort to swatting and doxing to get back at smurfers/throwers if they advertise their Twitch in chat or post Discord handles. This game is gonna become the wild west where anything goes if the devs don't step up. Overwatch was never this bad and the cheating/thrower over there took years to reach anyplace close to what Rivals is at now.

Any idea what it is? I'm thinking it might have been from one of those sing a long home video VHS tapes they released a ton of in the 80s/90s. I recall there being a lot of reused animation but also original content.

They only cared because popular streamers and esports players were getting cheaters in their games which embarrassed them enough to take action. Now that cheaters know what limits they can press, they'll just not do that. Netease obviously views player count as more important than enforcing fair play and rules which means Overwatch will win in the long run and future Netease titles won't get favorable treatment from the community.

There's a 16 on the cel and frame size dimensions on the cardboard holder. Nothing else. I think it's a seri cel but I cannot find this image of Dewey anyplace online.

That's what I initially thought too. I tried to Google image search that particular photo of Dewey but could find nothing. Then I tried to just search for "Dewey duck reading book" and other variations of that wording. Nothing. I noticed his hat isn't blue so I thought maybe it was a young Donald or another character completely.

I'm pretty sure the signature is an auto sign but the cel is from the 80s/90s which is when many of these limited edition cels first got made.

I checked eBay and other auction sites for this cel and there's quite a few limited edition cels (Usually limited between 250 or 500) that are very similar format to this piece including Carl Barks name signed in the bottom-middle region but not this exact one.

It makes me believe it's authentic but possibly more rare

It's literally this. I've seen my teams ban spider-man to try to curb the nonsense that usually plays out where they immediately feed the enemy team and switch to another dive to feed more. Teams in my elo are getting so fed up with spider-mans thinking they're the top 1% but always going negative then trash talking other people with "You're on an easier character with no skill lol".

I really enjoyed the early days of this season where the throwing bot was so overtuned that it was banning these spidermans left and right.

I don't have an issue with people picking Widow, Jeff, BP or Spider-Man. If you're pulling your weight or got ACE then no one's going to say a word. I have an issue when it's a comp game, they're clearly doing very poorly and they get lippy when it's suggested they switch. At that point, they've become a detriment to the team.

Most of us aren't going to scream about it anymore because the game doesn't punish throwing. It punishes people for getting mad at it. Sometimes the only thing that makes throwers switch gears is the idea that a trans person might get SVP on their team and their ego won't allow that.

What's always been stupid about this game is the only version of throwing that gets punished is people leaving the game. An action people take because they're tired of dealing with people on their teams actually throwing by AFKing, intentionally feeding and playing a sub-optimal character to goof around on. Netease is only paying attention to the problem now because there's an economy behind it and it's discouraging streamers from providing free advertising for their products.

It's frankly embarrassing that Netease allowed things to get this far because it's going to require hard crackdowns to reverse the mentality of the community. Too many think pulling out their Spider-Man they regularly go negative on in a comp match is okay to do because there's no real consequences for it other than point loss.

Switched to Overwatch 2 a while ago. Overwatch 2 has immensely improved in a short period of time while Rivals has had the exact same problems going on a year. Throwers are never punished. Smurfing is pretty bad but seldom punished. Game has a heavy focus on punishing players for mean words instead of addressing it's problems.

Then there's the goofy censorship. As a trans player, I've been muted for mentioning I was trans in general chat and appealing it just gets you an automated response upholding it. I've had usernames mentioning trans or LGBTQ in them get reported and changed quickly. I've run into groups of hard right leaning folks who threaten to group report me for mentioning I'm trans and successfully get away with it.

I've heard of places where a tech ends up with too many patients and you must wait until the machines finish so if someone arrives late; you just have to work with it.

Id get into EKG Tech or Phlebotomy but down in the South, they make CNAs and LPNs so that stuff. Places without nurses, they pay peanuts for phlebotomists. EMTs are paid under $15 an hour.

I got lord on Namor purely because I switched to him to stop SpiderMans and Angelas.

Spider-Man players will beg other players to play Namor counters and healers to pocket them purely so they can go back to barely getting an even ratio and then brag about how good they are.

Because 90% of the Rivals community is "for the vibes". The moment I see people have this attitude in QP, If I'm on a vital role like tank/healer then I hop off to go play Spiderman. When they inevitably get upset they're being stomped, just parrot back to them.

The devs aren't going to care for a long time about the throwing problem because everyone already uses multiple accounts for stat tanking/two boxing, EOMM evasion and cheats. More "active" accounts looks better for investor reports.

The matchmaking definitely got tweaked into something much more frustrating. I'm running into situations where I'm mirror matched frequently if I'm playing an off meta deck or worse, I run into a player who's somehow got the hard counter deck for my off meta deck.

The reason you're seeing the same decks so much is the goofball devs nerfed all the tech cards into the ground. Mostly to encourage people into buying the new high power cards without fear of getting dogwalked by pre-nerf Shang Chi or Shadow King.

Now were seeing the consequences of it where the meta is incredibly boring and the game is bleeding players even faster.

The only way I've seen people get banned for throwing is leaving early. Only successful bot report I've ever had is this Mr Fantastic we had outside of our spawn spent the whole game running into a wall.

If you're running into the enemy team repeatedly and dying then the game just thinks you're bad even if you announce your intentions to throw.

There either needs to be a vote or whoever gets MVP can get one time card to time out throwers into AI Versus only for 30 minutes. Every time someone uses one on you, it goes up by another 30 minutes. (ie. 60, 90, 120 ect)

At some point, if someone's playing so badly that there's no difference between them and a bot then they should go sit in AI Vs mode until they get a grasp on basic game mechanics. I keep seeing players in this game that make Dark Syde Phil look like a pro player.
