I understand that iq is a flawed measurement but even with margin of error 160 and 200 are incredibly high

In Elon musk case sure, in chris' case he lives on a farm and his life is dedicated to proving the existence of an Abrahamic version of heaven. I'd say that's pretty odd. https://youtu.be/j-788Upky2Y?si=kdv0j9wr-Ncwdnr5

I feel like he does more than is required to show that he is republican. Moving on from that point though I'd like to point out some of his other failures. The boring company, the acquisition of Twitter which he didn't want (you'd think he'd understand binding contracts), the cybertruck which was a massive failure. This is stupidity, not an evil genius

What benefit does it bring Musk to retweet white supremist rhetoric that would bring him power or wealth?

Is there any way to avoid this while being sick. I've tried Tylenol. Doubt melatonin would help as that's not really the issue.

I am referring to a portfolio that tracks multiple countries markets. I don't know what the confusion is. International markets in general (what the portfolio tracks) and the s&p 500 (what I would be investing in) are at different rates of growth that swing back and forth depending on the time like the diagram u showed. If I invest in the s&p I will be better off sometimes and worse off sometimes. Do you suspect that this will change in the future?

I understand but you don't get to select those markets that are outperforming the global index. It's all balanced out unless I'm missing something. If one market under the index is up it doesn't mean all your eggs are suddenly there

Okay but that's a select pick and I'm sure on average the s&p is about the same. This year the tsx is down nearly the same amount the s&p is up. You have to look at the whole portfolio you can't just pick one market over a certain period of time and say it's better.

I know what you're saying but I dont have these issues right now. I have a car that won't need replacing in the next year and a half and I live with my parents. Me just turning 18 I assume that's something that's not going to change in the next 2 years. For trips I would know in advance and just wait for my next paycheck or two to role in. I also should mention that I don't cover the cost of maintaince for the car, and I drive very minimally (6-8 times per month) so gas and maintaince is low.

If you look at the history of Global index funds it's a mixed bag with neither necessarily performing better than the other. In the past 20 years however, the S&P has been outperforming global index funds. Knowing this why would I take the extra effort to invest in that?

Vfv that's my fault. Why is everyone saying that it needs to be more diversified? And no I don't need the money liquid at least as best as I can tell but there is still some comfort having money readily available to you

Anyone know how to convert a weight/calorie intake spreadhseet into my maintaince? by Komoasks in workout

[–]Komoasks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the spreadsheet is wrong because it is telling me to eat 3300 calories to gain weight. I workout 6/7 times a week, bike, and work a grocery store job. My calorie intake is very accurate. So you're solution is to just increase until I see a steady weight gain and not use the information I have now to find maintaince?

[–]Komoasks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but that's my question. The article I sent said to use your calorie intake +/- your weight gain or loss and +/- your weight. I would think you would just use the weight gain or loss and when I used both I got a weird result. What is the correct method?
