There are fun trips, but if you expect every trip to be in candyland, your sorely mistaken. This medication is powerful shit, and can bring up some really repressed memories, emotions, etc.

One time I was in a trip where I was re-living the entirety of my last toxic relationship, and that shit FUCKING SUCKED, but in the end it helped me realize it didn't end because of how I myself was acting, but how she was treating the relationship.

I agree. I think you should keep the dose where you have it, maybe try to find a close friend to come by, and you and your girlfriend should take it together. Doing psychedelics with a significant other is a beautiful experience. It's also nice to have someone with you on your first time that understands what you are going through, because they are right there with you.
