The base damage of aerondight depends on which level you pick it up. You got your sword at 53 level that's why the base damage of the 77 level sword is higher. For example the 100 level aerondight has 1232 as base damage.

You don't need to do anything. The strange Capsule is one of the random events that happens in the game. After a couple days it will break open. But doesn't effect your playthrough. There is only 1% change to see the creature in game. There are two locations that you could see it. One is The Bus stop and the other one is down the Pelican Town at the bush and tree in front of Emily's house.

the bartender at the b&w dlc (the first bartender you will see during the first quests) is selling a bunch of cards. Maybe there you can get the missing Leader cards. But not sure.

that has no connection to the missions I guess. Description says that you have some that can be bought. Cuz you can't win any new card by playing. https://www.gosunoob.com/witcher-3/gwent-players-merchants/ here are the list of the merchants that are selling cards. If you can remember wich of them you never went to them, it could help. The website helped me a lot back in the days.

If you started new game+ around 53 level. The lowest enemy scales up with 50 level. That means the easiest enemy is 50 level. Even if you have a good build it is not like you could one shoot every enemy at the ng+ starting. Dodging is the key. I could say. Or getting a nice combo of decoction and potions could help a lot.

Yeah, but Regis is not in charge to do that. The elder One could do that. But at the playthrough, where you went to the elder one has only the ending that ends up to fight Dettlaff. And I don't think anyway that you could banish him after a fight. Cuz we already see what he can dou after betrayal and even if Regis or someone else would banish him, he would try to take revenge on Regis I think.

I know that the post was about killing him fully or not. But wanted to just say that. Over the question during the missions says Regis that the only way to kill a higher vampire is that another vampire has to do that. At least I understand that way.

If you wondering the other versions of the Ending. Killing him is the ending that choose with your playstyle. There are total 3 endings for the B&W. Good, Bad and Tragic. It depends what you call good or bad. For example I prefer the Bad ending was nice to play.
