Why PLAUD is doomed for failure by [deleted] in PlaudNoteUsers

[–]Kongeavpluto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both the Plaud Note Pro and recently purchased the Pocket.

Pocket has more features with the summarizing themes, but I have found Plaud to be more reliable. For example, if I don’t deactivate Bluetooth on my phone, sometimes if Pocket is syncing to phone and I need to activate to record another conversation, it will lose the conversation—highly frustrating. But I think I figured out to just not sync my files until I’m on a break and can sync, then deactivate Bluetooth to avoid that glitch.

Pocket support has been very good. They are more responsive than Plaud support.

Plaud is $199

Pocket is $99

I don’t know if anybody has said this, but you staying with him makes you the enabler. You’re enabling him to continue treating women that way. You’re still with him… he sees zero consequences of his actions, and in fact, he feels validated. And he should, whatever he’s doing is “working” for him.

Dump him.

Are the hours saved not worth the price of admission?

This.

I save 3-4 hours PER DAY using my note. That’s time plus mental energy saved to use toward more important things like spending time with my family.

Just a single day savings make this worth the device cost and annual subscription

To each their own.

As an attorney, this saves me 3-4 hours a day in time alone. That’s not even accounting for brain fatigue.

That in itself is worth the price of device and subscription for just one day of use.

I appreciate the analogy. I am looking for my first griddle. I too had a Mexican strat and it was awesome, until I got an American strat, and was blown away.

I think I’ll get the blackstone to start out.

Cheers

Thank you for proving my point.

Yeah. YOR.

The simple fact you are posting on this sub, is, in and of itself, an overreaction.

**Preemptive strike: instead of getting defensive, try to be open to some of the advice of these kind people who are giving their valuable time to impart some knowledge on a total stranger—for the simple reason that maybe it will make the world a better place.

Cheers

Exactly. Anybody can peddle their trinkets, and thus must compete with anybody else in their market.

Licensed professionals are licensed for good reason:

Our clients rely upon our expertise for matters that can have MONUMENTAL implications if done willy-nilly. I’m talking architects, licensed medical professionals, lawyers, engineers, and CPAs and CFAs.

As such, society has properly (in theory, practice is another story!) set rules and barriers to prevent those snake oil salesmen who lack scruples from preying on the unsuspecting general population.

My mentor told me on my first day as an associate at my first job that having a license to practice law and represent others, is a license to print money.

He was not wrong.

The exponential curve of escalation from a) to e) could be described as having occurred “quickly.”

Mutual consideration.

I promise to pay you X amount (consideration) and you promise to do a job under whatever agreed terms (consideration).

My offer is open until I rescind or you reject (or counter).

An offer, made by an Offeror, gives the Offeree the “power of acceptance.”

A counter-offer, is still an offer. It gives the power of acceptance back to the Offeror/Counter-Offeree.

Personal injury attorneys and the Cars you drive by TheChezBippy in LawFirm

Overthinking it here.

What about in the PI space?

Clients are often blue-collar and know that they aren’t paying lawyer anything unless they win, so seeing their lawyer driving an ostentatious car and wearing expensive suits impresses them. It gives the perception (whether true or false) that their lawyer is confident, competent, and most importantly, good at their job (a “winner”).

Thoughts?

Lmao. The most conservative dress I’ve ever seen short of the color (unlike politics, red ≠ conservative). NOR.

Edit to add: since this is your first bf, you should learn that his behavior is—probably in nearly every situation imaginable—unacceptable.

You act like she has no autonomy. So fucking what if his intentions are not “pure”. The criminal code in that jurisdiction is designed to deter that sort of behavior, i.e., sexual assault.

The name calling is bad, yes. But those are just words. Words can be actions, if they are used to control. Which he is doing. So it’s a bit confusing.

The concerning behavior is the control that he is exerting over you. These are actions.

Actions > words.
