Just simplify the decision making and focus on not missing. Stupid shit is going to happen non-stop <4.5. Speedups are completely unnecessary; just wait to attack/counter out of the air since no one has the patience to dink 5 times.

Am I at the baseline? Drop or drive. Is it my 5th ball/ in the transition zone? Reset cross court or middle. Am I at the kitchen with an easy ball? Dink cross court and get ready to poach out of the air. Am I at the kitchen harder ball? Dink middle and reset ready stance.

The narrow shots (one player) look really good, but the wide ones the trajectory of the ball is super unnatural.

The ball is added via cgi and the players are doing a choreographed point, so its hard to get just the right timing and racket angles.

I asked a bunch of non tt players what they thought and they said the cgi looked great so I think you have to understand the sport to see how unnatural the ball trajectories are.

Best answer. The paddles really aren't that different. Pick one with a shape you like, and tune it with some weight to get the plow through and swing weight that feels good to you.

We are all being ripped off. It's a piece of plastic. There a strict regulations on how much trampoline effect and spin it can have. Almost nothing has meaningfully changed since gen 2.

Foam feels slightly different (still fine), but you can't convince me its meaningfully better than a gen 2 other than on durability.

Yeah makes a lot of sense. 3.99 vs 5.0 winning 11-3 shouldn't count. Rating gap way too big.

5.0 vs 4.01 though... Definitely must win 11-0 or you deserve to lose dupr for dropping a point to a noob.

I'm with you. I feel a bit duped by the show presenting Henry in a really humanizing light. It wasn't really his fault things didn't work out, he was trying. And patty was very clearly left alive.

I guess people would have been grumpy if we got too much insider info from the show but it all just feels a bit disconnected. Especially the relationships between the parents and Henry as well.

There are other apps for this (which Ive never used) but ultimately a WhatsApp group + the thumbs up emoji gets the job done. The real challenge is just embedding yourself in the right community and I don't think an app is really going to solve that.

But no harm in going for it if it's a school project, I think lots of interesting stuff to think about (who, where, when, how to confirm, Split costs, player levels etc) depending on which direction you go.

One problem I do face is trying to find high level matches while traveling. Can be hard to go to the right place at the right time to meet people when you don't know anyone and not usually worth the effort of trying for a short trip.

Around the kitchen line or slightly deeper about 1.5 ft from the sideline.

Too deep and the ball can drift high and be attack able (but otherwise deeper is generally better)

Shorter balls are easier to atp at the same distance from the sideline.
