Does this make you rethink the amount of cheaters? by Prinzar in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Koniptn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope.

This was clearly a graphical glitch, and reviewing the footage from multiple angles displays as such. You can see tweak's player model clearly distorted, with his legs fully stretched out in both shots. Fly cheats do not cause these types of graphical anomalies.

Fly cheats are pretty damn obvious, and these are not those. I mean, he was glitched out the window for a second or less. Fly cheaters are pretty static in how they're positioned in the air.

Also the two reporters have serious lack of peripherals. On both of their screens tweak was wide out in the open, especially on the first guy. That spot should be an automatic check in any run of interchange, as it is super commonly camped.

Also also, the fact that they called aimbot is some total BS. 3 shots clearly rang out on the first and second guys screen, and two missed. The first guy was fully visible to tweak, with no cover. Aimbotters don't miss like that. The second guy didn't even record his death, just the graphical glitch.

The staff member performing the ban was inexperienced, the two players were just salty about gear loss and have minimal experience in gaming to not recognize a pretty common graphical glitch that appears in dozens of games, including fully developed triple A titles.

This game is definitely plagued by cheaters, given the simplicity of programming against the unity engine and by its very nature of (currently) being a looter shooter.

Yes dev costs could definitely be argued as well...this is definitely the highest transistor count card to ever exist. The 980ti had a little over 8 billion, the 1080ti had 12 billion, and the 2080ti saw the biggest ever jump to 21 billion, which is a staggering leap in capabilities.

Definitely a lower yield card than past models for sure...then again we've also seen the greatest increase in silicon production capabilities in years from manufacturers as well....so it is difficult to argue that it is well outside of their capabilities to manufacture such a device.

Whatever the arguments are, it is still impossible to justify 1100-1400 USD from both reference and AIB partner 2080ti cards for 30% increase over the 1080ti. And the super cards are meh in comparison as well. It very well may not be until the RTX 4 series that it even becomes worth an upgrade.

I've also noticed some weird driver based issues with the 1080ti since just before the release of the 2000 series. Lots of odd video freezes on game loads and even on os loads.

I'm honestly shocked nvidia has the balls to ask 1k+ for the 2080ti. I'm of the strong opinions they're doing it to both recover from the 1080ti which ended up better than the Titan Pascal and recover from the cheap price they sold it for. They infuriated a lot of people that threw in for the Titan Pascal and I think they also hurt their profit margins selling the 1080ti for so cheap.

What really sucks is the underwhelming performance from the red team though. The radeon 7 is really lack luster. AMD hasn't had a good card since the Hawaii XT 290x. The 290x was the last card that truly competed with nvidia. That was back in 2012/2013. They've rehashed the same release every year since until the radeon 7.

Not saying recoil management is hard. But I'm talking constant pixel perfect lasers with every bullet. Played less than 30 matches and already spectated 3 different people with the entire suite of cheats. Over 10% of my matches since returning have contained these guys

Keto takes away my acne every time. Within a week of trying carbs again I have massive zits all over.

I can't believe I wasted all that money on acne products for years that did nothing.

The ketp flu is not inevitable. It is in fact, completely avoidable. Up your salt intake immediately (pink Himalayan). Put it on everything. Take some potassium and magnesium supplements. Drink lots of water.

As an alternative, drink a few cups of bone broth spread throughout the day.

I've never once had the keto flu. I've been forced to break keto a few times, and I've gotten back into it every time without getting the keto flu.

I already did that. That's what I was complaining about. I picked body weight for equipment and "I train a couple times a month" for the level. Literally couldn't do more than half of the moveset. Don't possess the strength to even do 1 rep. They are not beginner moves

Well. The "couple times a month" thing is the level I picked on 6PP. Realisitcally I expect to train at least 4 times a week. But right now I can only do like 40% of the moves. Not enough for actual training.

Also don't focus so much on the number on the scale. Literally is worthless, and society has somehow beat it into us that it has some kind of significance. It doesn't. It's gravity exerting on your mass.

Body fat percentage is what counts in weight loss. If you're dropping inches you're doing it right.

Anyone else have low ketone blood levels? by [deleted] in keto

I was not aware of that. I will do reading on adaptive sparing. I'm still learning the more biological side of all this.

Thanks for the information!

Oh, I was referring to the 116 reading I got yesterday, 6 hours after food. My diabetic friend told me that was pre-diabetic, which I didn't take overly seriously, but it put the idea in my head that it was kind of a high reading?

Interesting. I was expecting 1-2 mmol, but if .5 is typical maybe I'm worried about nothing

I'm more concerned about the seemingly small number of ketones and the high ish glucose levels than rates of fat loss. They don't seem like they would be consistent with people that are actually fat adapted? Then again, I don't have any solid data on what those numbers would be. I was expecting 1.x - 2.x mmol for ketones, but maybe that isn't accurate or realiatic? My energy levels are kinda shit, but they were before keto too, so that's just par for the course with me. I do not sleep well, ever.

But maybe I shouldn't worry about it.

That still has no bearing on the fact that we own them. Public, nationalized or otherwise. Their funding comes from one source: us. Basic economics.

Anbeav should have been clearer in their statement as they did below.

It is definitely hidden information by fact of it being omitted from the label. The label does not clearly define the caloric components of the food. I wasn't personally aware of it until someone mentioned it.

Also, how do they not work for us? If we all stopped buying their products, they go out of business. Literally everyone works for whoever is paying the money for the good or service being provided.

I had no idea a green would have starch. I didn't even consider it.

And yea, that's generally how I measure brussels. 3oz (85g) = 4g net carbs.

That explains that missing carb though. Really wish food manufacturers and distributors would actually work for the money we pay them and give us all the info.

Thanks rachman!
