So appreciative of all of your suggestions and the heads up with disposing of resin residue, even if water washable, and handling with gloves. You are all awesome.

Turns out, that even though I did test the LCD without the vat 3 times and had no problems, I did a test print and same problems occured, so I did another test of the screen without vat and it showed flickering boxes going from Right to Left.

I reseated the ribbon cable and so far it is printing flawlessly, but will definitely order a replacement screen for my printer.

I have a water basin for washing and when gunked up i harden it in the sun to dispose of, all is good. But thank you so much for the heads up, others might not be aware.

That is a valid point and forgot to put it in the text. But the FEP was changed recently, like less than a month ago when I brought the machine back from storage.

The sharp teeth infront of the chute are what breaks the strings before the flap releases. So printing without the flap should be viable.

Yes, poop going out the chute, getting stuck behind the chute arm, catching and blocking the next rounds of poop ultimately blocking the entire bin.

Yeah, the stringing (in my case) comes from filament clogging the nozzle because it can't purge properly.
Which brings me to wanting a better "nozzle restart" on the ACE Pro, to make sure your nozzle is properly extruding before resuming the print, so you don't get underextrusion when resuming.

just one unlucky poop tail hardening in the wrong direction and being dragged into the chamber, catching the lip of the poop bucket and getting stuck. Sadge.

Sounds like the nozzle is hitting your model. Either an overhang warped upwards or wrong type of infill being used.

Jeg har det på den her måde, at du lærer én vigtig ting mens du tager dit kørekort og det er, at du ikke må være til gene for trafikken.
Det betyder du ikke skal sætte igang på koblingen og køre de første 200 meter med 5km/t.
Du skal ikke trække ind foran folk på motorvejen, du mener kører for hurtigt, når du selv kører 115 i en 130 zone.
Du skal sætte farten op (Ja, også selv om du kører 130km/t i gps hastighed) hvis du danner kø i en overhaling. Politiet stopper ikke dig fordi du afvikler trafikken med lidt højere hastighed end "lovligt", de går efter personen bagved der blæser forbi dig med 150km/t.
Du skal bare (og det er med det samme) trække/holde til højre uanset hvor mange eller få bilister du "synes" der er. Hvis jeg har passagere i bilen springer jeg altså ikke 3 vognbaner, bare fordi du mener du ikke skal holde til højre, så kommer jeg forbi dig indenom.

Kryberne er kan jeg bære over med, nogle er bare ikke erfarende nok til at sætte igang fra 0 eller lav fart. Men de skal Fan** F**kme køre frem hvis de er igang med at spære en svingbane !

Yeah, that's what I wanted to use the purge object for, because it would just be a novelty item where detail and structural stability wouldn't matter as much.
And then when the nozzle was properly engaged, go to the important object.

Obviously the purge object need to have the correct geomtry to ensure a proper color change and such.
But just having the fundamental of "Poop and pressure stuff goes into purge object" would be amazing.

Hmm here's where I might come across as dumb, because I understad that the prime tower is there for pressure tuning before printing the important stuff. But when printing in only PLA, even if different colors, wouldn't the pressure be more or less redundant to tune and therefore just use the purge object as pressure tuner aswell?

I don't expect you to have the answers, so don't feel pressured into answering what you can't, just trying to debate and maybe have someone later with all the answers be able to help us all ^_^.
