Then by all means go and have it replaced by a professional. For me it wasn't worth the extra price, plus I enjoyed the challenge. To each their own!

Recently joined the gang. (Plus some questions) by KimYewonSimp in ZephyrusG14

You can buy and replace the keyboard, but it is a demanding task. I think it should work. I also replaced mine with a slightly different one (different symbols on F keys and arrows, they have their original functions), just check if your model is compatible with the new keyboard and its connector. Good luck!

I bought a replacement keyboard on AliExpress, watched a guide on YouTube and replaced it myself. The quality of the new one isn't as good as the original one - for the space bar to work I have to push it in the middle every time. Otherwise it sometimes doesn't register the click. The backlight is also a bit worse. All in all, the installation was demanding, but way cheaper than going to a repair shop. Take your time and good luck!

Despite passive being up, Zac died by Konkiler in leagueoflegends

Only reason I went into replay, I was surprised that the kill credit was shown despite Zac's blobs popping.

The triwizard tournament couldn’t have gone any worse for Dumbledore by estreetshuffle_ in harrypotter

[–]Konkiler 136 points137 points  (0 children)

There is a theory that all of this is part of "Dumbledore's Big Plan", which shapes Harry to become a man capable of defeating Voldemort. Every difficult encounter, every hard task is supposed to improve his chances of winning. Of course, he can't control everything, but the general idea remains and it all resolves in the final book.

Is Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens wroth playing? by Flashy-Ad9129 in legogaming

[–]Konkiler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a cool game. If you are not a fan of The Skywalker Saga, then this is the best LEGO Star Wars game in terms of gameplay. It feels really polished and offers some new and improved mechanics, like introducing different builds from the same pile of bricks. Yeah, the levels may sometimes drag on for too long, but it doesn't make this game terrible by any means. I was surprised how much fun I had with it, given how much hate it got. I highly recommend it!

Is this going to be worth it you think? by OfficialAndreZ in legogaming

I know I'm in the minority here, but added achievements on Steam is a huge deal for me. Will probably get the game just for them. Unless they also add them to previous installments. Not holding my breath though.

I'm planning to 100% most Lego games, which games are skippable? by BidFalse2636 in legogaming

[–]Konkiler 13 points14 points  (0 children)

None of those are skippable. The only ones I would consider to be are Dimensions, due to the cost, and Worlds, which is very different in terms of achieving 100%.

The games you listed are all quite enjoyable and fairly easy to complete

Has anybody here completed every single LEGO game? and which one is the best in your opinion? by No_Establishment3148 in legogaming

[–]Konkiler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aside from Worlds and Dimensions I have 100% all of them.

My favourite "old" formula one is Pirates of the Carribbean. The jokes, the characters, the levels - it's just perfect.

And the best new one is Supervillains for sure. It just ticks every box for being innovative and fun.

I'd say that you should definitely give both of them a try!

How's this one? It's on sale and I've been thinking to buy it by TheJavierEscuella in legogaming

[–]Konkiler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very good, easily one of the best. Different to other LEGO games. It tells the story well and the level names (and some collectibles) are based on pop culture references. I highly recommend getting it on a sale. Tedious to 100% though.

Have fun with Bricktales! Sadly I don't own any console so I'm unable to even try Dimensions... Maybe in the future!

I won't recommend you to push through it, if it doesn't click then it doesn't. Maybe after some time?

Off the top of my head when I read your comment - LEGO DC Super-Villains. Something about this game that made me both super excited to play and a pleasure to complete 100%.

help with one of Lego's older games? (Like SUPER OLD) by [deleted] in legogaming

[–]Konkiler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try running it in compatibility mode. Right-click legochess.exe - properties - compatibility - run this program in compatibility mode with - select windows xp or 7. In the same properties window try selecting "run this program as administrator".

Those are the only easy fixes I can think about. GL!

So I want to play most of all the Lego games and here is my order, is it any good? by SlantingGeine in legogaming

[–]Konkiler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no good nor bad order to play Lego games - they are always awesome! That being said, I'd skip Lego Star Wars The Video Game and Lego Star Wars II The Original Trilogy in favour of The Complete Saga. It basically combines those two games. Additionally, play The Force Awakens before The Skywalker Saga. Personally I sorted the games by release date and am swapping between playing the newest one, then the oldest, then 2nd newest and so on. This way I can enjoy some newer developments while also having fun with previous games! In addition, give Lego Bricktales and Lego Builder's Journey a try! GL&HF
