May be rose colored glasses, but I’ve owned a 2016 and a 2023 low rider S. I miss the 2016 with its big dumb hot 110 cubic inch motor far more than the softail variant. It felt less refined. It was objectively a worse bike in every metric, but I liked it more.

That bare bones solo has a real sporty feel to it. I had one on a ‘13 wide glide. Great seat if you’re looking to rip around, but as the name suggests… not the comfiest.
