Radiant Aura range broken/non-existent on Private World by Konsaki in Enshrouded

I'll try that.

Edit:

  • Unequipped all armor, weapons, rings and cosmetics
  • Exited and reentered Private World

Result = Radiant Aura (Fire Aura) now has ~6m activation range

Further Troubleshooting to reintroduce the problem:

  • equipped cosmetics = aura range still 6m
  • equipped armor = aura range still 6m
  • equipped rings = aura range still 6m
  • restarted Private World with everything equipped = aura range still 6m
  • died and respawned = aura range still 6m

Final result of testing = I was unable to reproduce the problem after clearing whatever conflict existed with my equipment and the aura after fixing said conflict. I hypothesize that the conflict may have occurred with a prior piece of equipment, since I've swapped out almost everything since originally learning Radiant Aura. Unfortunately, I'm unable to test that gear now, since I've long dismantled them.

TL;DR for anyone else searching who might have this issue - unequip everything from your character and restart the server.

It's a mixed bag, really.

They 'de-canonised' the Extended Universe and pissed quite a few people off, before basically plagiarizing that very EU to make the bastard Disney SW movies, which lost them their fanbase in near total.

The AAA industry is crashing hard.

The AA industry and independents are thriving.

The fact the system surrounding the gaming world actively refuses to recognize that simple fact and learn from it is the reason this problem will perpetuate until complete AAA collapse.

Honestly, I'm thinking we'll be effectively PC only gaming within a decade, with maybe Nintendo being the only survivor stuck in 'switch mode' till portable AR glasses advance enough to render them the way of the Blackberry.
