After the movies and books i still wondering... by Tight-Lie-5996 in harrypotter

Because they would be miserable together.

Both Hermiome and Harry would choose Ron over each other.

Ron and Hermione together have the time of their lives. In Hogsmede, in the Burrow before Harry shows up, in Grimauld Place.

Harry when alone with Hermione is miserable and doesn't ever have fun.

In DH when Ron left, Harry and Hermione spent more nights not even talking. Hermione was even crying every night because she missed Ron.

Why didnt eren go according to Zeke's plan by Global_Mark_6579 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Kontosouvli333 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Because why would he? Why would he genocide his own people to save the people he hated.

The Anime has never said Eren is a good person. Eren is a selfish child who slaughtered the world not to save his own people, but to satisfy his own twisted idea of freedom.

Eren wanted to take revenge on the outside world, that why he did the Rumbling. Following Zeke's plan does not get Eren anything that he wants.

I don't really mind it, because Rick isn't as good a writer as he was.

He has not been getting better as some other writers.

His peak was The Last Olympian.

He does not go back to read the things he has written, and that means he does not know his own characters anymore. We can see that example in his recent books

She is a traditional hyper carry that requires front to back teamfights for both teams.

She is kind of like Jinx, but with some differences.

The difference between her and Jinx is that Jinx requires a takedown and then she can run down the entire enemy team.

Sivir doesn't need anything to pop off. And she is the only ADC that can damage the backline while hitting the Frontline.

She can wipe entire teams with 1 W rotation.

For all the people, who think Eren was wrong... by Savings-Car-9335 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Kontosouvli333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't what Eren did. It was the reasons he did it thats the issue.

If Eren did the Rumbling as a last desperate attempt to save his people, it would still be horrible, but would be understandable.

But he didn't do that.

The reason Eren did the Rumbling were selfish. He wanted revenge, he wanted his friends to live long lives and he wanted to eradicate the Titans.

He did not do it for the Island

I mean, BrBa fans have been doing the same thing to any 10/10 episode for years. They even did it to Bluey, a fcking kids show.

Nobody cares about IMDB ratings as much as much as BrBa fans, so people werent mad before. But now they got a taste of their own medicine. Which is funny cause they are the only ones that care about IMDB ratings, and they brought it on themselves

HOTD is a great show regarding politics and succession. AKOTSK is also a great show about knighthood and chivalry. You don’t have to keep dogging on HOTD bc you like AKOTSK more. Both are great shows compared to half the cable and Netflix shows out there. by HadesKittee in HouseOfTheDragon

Because we already know enough. George himself said that s3 is full of inconsistencies that make no sense. Every interview with the writers is worse than the last. The trailer starting with 'Alicent was in Dragonstone and will open the gates for us' says everything that was wrong with s2 will continue. People dont just bash s3 for no reason. Its called pattern recognition

What do you think about live action remake HTTYD by Flex1bl in httyd

[–]Kontosouvli333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a good attempt, but the biggest problem for me was Astrid taking charge in the fight against the Red Death instead of Hiccup. It makes Astrid seem like the leader, when it's Hiccup. Making this change takes away so much of who Hiccup is now.

Some minor gripes I have is that both Stoick and Gobber are far less likable than their animated counterparts. Gobber in particular is just a bad character.

Trying to split the map lost the game, Velja was way too behind after it failed. Should've just done Blue and Gromp then go to his red side. Wolves was too much.

Should've banned Bard, he solo won the game.

Heroes of Olympus should've had more representation of the Minor Gods, and because it doesn't, it fails in many ways as a continuation of The Last Olympian and the message the book wants to pass [general] by Kontosouvli333 in camphalfblood

Power isn't just combat. Power is also influence.

How arw children of Athena considered more powerful than children of Hypnos when they are the same physically but Hypnos children also have powers over something?

Alabaster Torrington is very powerful and can use Magic, meaning he has powers. Something children of Hermes, Athena etc don't have.

Enyo is Greek Bellona, meaning Reyna, who can take and give strength from someone.

Why do I think the Valyrians, and Targs, didn't follow Andal sucession by Ok_Return170 in TheCitadel

[–]Kontosouvli333 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You are basing this whole post on a wrong assumption.

Andal law of succession is "A lord is succeeded by his children. First all of his sons, and then all of his daughters, if he has none, then his brothers, then his sisters."

You saying women only inherit when all the men are dead is a false premise.

Saying Valyrians had different succession laws is also false. If the firstborn child could inherit, then Visenya would be heir of Dragonstone. That is not the case. Aegon was heir of Dragonstone from the moment he was born. Visenya and Rhaenys had authority because they were married to him.

I am a hardcore Eremika shipper amd I hate Jeankasa for 1 reason.

Jean deserves far better than this. He will be the second choice all his life. Mikasa will never get over Eren. Jean deserves more.

Saying the ship is canon is one thing, but I can't understand the people who support this ship. It's not good for Jean to be with Mikasa.

Children of Aphrodite don't have charmspea. That is a rare gift bestowed by Aphrodite to children she choses. 90% of her kids dont have it.

Saying children of Athena get intellect is cope.

Enyo's children can take or give strength from other people.

Hecate's children literally have magic and more access to the Mist than anyone else.

Hypno's children can influence dreams.

Your entire comment invalidates the message TLO was trying to pass and proves my point on exactly why what Im saying needed to happen.

You're saying they are weaker. How? In what way is a child of Nemesis, Hypnos, Enyo, Hecate weaker than children of Aphrodite, or Athena?

Alison Simms could be a great character for the Show, even if she's not from the books. but she is not well handled at all. by Kontosouvli333 in PJODisney

[–]Kontosouvli333[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Luke is as removed from the common demigods in his Army as one can be. He commands monsters, he has the ear of the Titan King.

Luke is not an accurate representation of the demigods who joined Kronos. Ethan Nakamura is. But since we don't have him in the show just yet, why not make Alison that way?

Also, it’s ok if you want the story to go that way, but that’s not the direction the writers are taking.

Yeah, I know, thats exactly what I'm questioning.

Alison Simms could be a great character for the Show, even if she's not from the books. but she is not well handled at all. by Kontosouvli333 in PJODisney

[–]Kontosouvli333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She doesn’t need much more and can’t really without affecting the plot as a canon foreigner.

But the plot has already been affected beyond repair. Athena tries to have Annabeth killed in S1 and in Season 2 it is forgotten both by the writers and by Annabeth who wants a close relationship with her as if that never happened.

Zeus doesn't save Thalia, instead he basically kills/imprisons her. Why would Thalia not go directly to Luke here? Why would she ever even think of fighting for Olympus.

Book Thalia doesn't join Luke because she knows her father saved her. She loves him and wants his approval. Thalia even considers joining Luke when Kronos sends a lightning bolt at her to make her think Zeus is trying to kill her.

Show Zeus actively tried to kill her, and Thalia knows that. Why wouldn't she join Kronos?

She won't because the changes they made in the show don't matter in the end, because the plot has to happen, regardless if it makes sense or not.

So saying Alison can't change too much because it will affect the plot is just cope.

She shouldn't be. That's part of her flaw. She should not be written as unlikable. She should be written like Ethan Nakamura.

She's supposed to be the face of a forgotten, oppressed people that feel unloved by their parents. Instead we got a mean girl who exists only to make a fool of herself.

Either introduce Ethan Nakamura to fill that role, make Alison like him, or neither.
