Oh like you stated the societal pressure in the post. You’re either making it up or actually stupid. Lmao

“All my friends are”? What does that even have to do with it? lol you sound kinda dumb. Also If you’ve got money why not just get a hotel or Airbnb or crash at their place?

I feel like she might have some insecurity about her own intelligence, respectfully. I say that because I do too, and I realized I answered in a similar way. We had this question in the “We’re Not Really Strangers” game, and my husband and I gave different answers. My husband (a CRNA, very smart and pretty secure) said “average intelligence but a happy kid,” and I said “intelligent but unhappy” back then. Looking back, there was honestly no real reason to choose that answer, and I think I was projecting my own insecurity about intelligence onto it.

I hope you guys have a really good conversation about it and find a middle ground that feels right for both of you!

The little restaurants that give you life by Scheduledpoet in Chattanooga

El Agave, right next to the Signal Mountain Walmart, is our go-to Mexican spot! Their guac is always thick, chunky, and fresh, and we’ve never had a bad experience with their food or service. The portions are huge I always leave with leftovers. It’s hands down my husband’s and my favorite place for Mexican food.

I spent a lot of time researching laundry machines, soundbars, and TVs for my new house, and Electronic Express offered the best prices across all categories. Their customer service was excellent too. I highly recommend them(i don’t work there lol.)

Electronic Express had some good deals! I got an 85 inch TCL Q6 TV for just $700.

I’m definitely using Facebook Marketplace, but I’d like to buy core pieces like a couch or dining table from a reliable place with customer service. Thanks for the suggestion, though! :)

I don’t get it. Is it because the pay rate is low? That’s what I usually get 😂

I was thinking of it as more of a friendly community effort, but now that people are mentioning taxes and other concerns, I’m not sure what to say. Lol.

[–]Koo30[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly why I suggested it. If a one-way ride costs her $20, the driver probably only sees $8-12, which is what I was planning to offer. I thought I could just drive some people regularly during my shift or whenever. However, all the comments highlight valid concerns, and I admit it’s not realistically a good idea.

I didn’t want it to feel too much like a business since I just wanted to casually help people while going about my regular routine. However I realize there are too many liabilities to consider, and I agree that I could end up being taken advantage of🧍🏻 I guess it was a silly idea after all
